If you’ve been waiting to kick back and relax on the shores of an inviting beach with a cool drink in hand, the Barefoot Pool Bar at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort is the perfect place to do so. This tropically-inspired quick-service restaurant sits both poolside and at the waterfront, offering laid-back views no matter which direction you face – and the food here is nicely varied, too.

Barefoot Pool Bar Location

The Barefoot Pool Bar sits right next to the Lava Pool at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. It’s just off the Seven Seas Marina, and the bar faces the resort’s beach.

Barefoot Pool Bar Menu

Since the Barefoot Pool Bar is, well, a poolside bar, its fare is simple but varied. Open for lunch and dinner, guests can stop by as late as 10:00 PM – but entrées can only be ordered until 8:00 PM.

Designed as a walk-up quick-service bar, this dining spot offers small bites, full meals, and plenty of drinks. If you’re spending a resort day by the pool as a guest at the Polynesian, you’ll find this is a great place to grab a quick bite or a cocktail.

With options for kids and adults alike, the food at the Barefoot Pool Bar leans tropical and tiki-inspired. However, if you’re visiting with picky eaters, the kids’ menu is nicely extensive and offers more options than many other poolside restaurants across Disney World.

Is Barefoot Pool Bar Kid-Friendly?

When you and the family are spending the day at the Lava Pool, there’s really no better place to find options for every taste and appetite than the Barefoot Pool Bar. Here, you’ll find kid-friendly food and a laid-back atmosphere where no one will worry about noisy, wiggly, or on-the-move kids – and you can enjoy your food without pausing playtime for very long.

Plus, when it comes to kid-friendly dining, this poolside bar at Disney World offers a surprising number of options. Picky eaters and those with slightly more adventurous appetites will find something they can enjoy here, and parents too will love having their pick of dishes (and cocktails, if you’re in the mood for one paired with beachfront views!)
