For a peaceful waterfront retreat with distinctly Disney storytelling, Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge blends the beauty of nature with inspiration from films including Bambi, Pocahontas, Encanto, Brother Bear, and Fantasia. Opening July 1, 2027, on the shores of Bay Lake, this new resort will offer spacious accommodations, extensive recreation, waterfront dining, and boat transportation to Magic Kingdom.

Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge Overview

Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge is an all-new Disney Resort hotel opening along the shores of Bay Lake. Inspired by Walt Disney’s appreciation for the outdoors, the resort will celebrate the natural settings and artistic styles of classic Disney animated films. Floor-to-ceiling windows, natural materials, earthy colors, and original artwork will help connect the hotel’s indoor spaces with the surrounding landscape.

The resort will feature 967 rooms, ranging from compact studios for two to three-bedroom Grand Villas and freestanding Lake Houses. Several accommodations will offer views of Bay Lake and the Magic Kingdom fireworks, while select Club Level rooms will include access to The Artist’s Nest concierge lounge.

One of the resort’s biggest draws will be The Wetlands, an expansive recreation area featuring multiple pools, a lazy river, a waterslide, and wet and dry play areas. Guests will also be able to travel directly to Magic Kingdom by water taxi, making Lakeshore Lodge a convenient option for families who plan to spend plenty of time at the park.

Room Types

  • Resort Studio – King: Sleeps up to 2 adults with one king bed. These Pocahontas-inspired rooms include a mini refrigerator and microwave, with a balcony available in select rooms.
  • Resort Studio – Queen: Sleeps up to 4 adults with two queen beds. These rooms feature Pocahontas-inspired artwork, a mini refrigerator, and a microwave. Select rooms include a balcony or Club Level access.
  • Duo Studio: Sleeps up to 2 adults with one queen-size pull-down bed. Inspired by Encanto, these studios include a kitchenette, seating area, spa-like bathroom, and private balcony.
  • Deluxe Studio: Sleeps up to 4 adults with one queen bed and one queen-size pull-down bed. These Bambi-inspired accommodations include a kitchenette with a wet bar, seating area, spacious bathroom, and private balcony.
  • 1-Bedroom Villa: Sleeps up to 5 adults. Includes a separate bedroom, full kitchen, dining room, living area, split bathroom, washer and dryer, and private patio or balcony.
  • 2-Bedroom Villa: Sleeps up to 9 adults. Includes separate bedrooms, a full kitchen, dining and living areas, multiple bathrooms, a washer and dryer, and a private patio or balcony.
  • 3-Bedroom Grand Villa: Sleeps up to 12 adults. Inspired by Fantasia, these expansive villas include three bedrooms, multiple bathrooms, a full kitchen, dining room, living room, washer and dryer, and private patio or balcony.
  • 1-Bedroom Lake House: Sleeps up to 5 adults. This freestanding, Brother Bear-inspired accommodation includes one bedroom, two bathrooms, a full kitchen, separate living and dining areas, a washer and dryer, and a private waterfront porch.
  • 2-Bedroom Lake House: Sleeps up to 8 adults. These A-frame waterfront retreats include two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a full kitchen, separate living and dining areas, a washer and dryer, and a private porch overlooking Bay Lake.
  • Hidden Willow Presidential Suite: Sleeps up to 6 adults. This Pocahontas-inspired suite includes two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a full kitchen, separate living room, washer and dryer, a balcony with Bay Lake and fireworks views, and access to The Artist’s Nest Club Level lounge.

Room designs will feature natural materials, earthy color palettes, and artwork inspired by Disney films set in the great outdoors.

Transportation

  • Bus Transportation: Disney buses will transport guests to the Walt Disney World theme parks, water parks, and Disney Springs.
  • Water Taxi: Complimentary water taxis will travel between Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge and Magic Kingdom.
  • Minnie Van Service: Minnie Van service connected by Lyft will be available for an additional fee.
