With gorgeous waterfront views, an extensive and varied menu, and plenty of nautical-inspired theming inside and out, The BOATHOUSE is a Disney Springs favorite. This table-service restaurant has it all, from a raw bar to a full-sized speedboat (yes, indoors!), creating a memorable experience from start to finish.

The BOATHOUSE is a third-party restaurant, one by Schussler Creative, which is also responsible for Disney World favorites like Rainforest Café, T-Rex, and Yak & Yeti (as well as other uniquely themed restaurants around the country).

And if you’re looking for variety, The BOATHOUSE delivers. In addition to offering a family-friendly table-service restaurant, this dining destination also has three diverse bars, including The Dock Bar, which is situated over the water.

The BOATHOUSE Location

The BOATHOUSE is located in the Landing neighborhood of Disney Springs, right on Lake Buena Vista. It’s just a short walk from Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar and Wine Bar George.

The BOATHOUSE Menu

At The BOATHOUSE, you’ll find a menu filled with more upscale fare. While there is a special focus on seafood, the restaurant offers both land and sea options for diners who may want variety, with steak, chops, pasta, and more available.

Hoping for a more casual dining experience? The BOATHOUSE does also offer sandwiches, burgers, and lobster rolls. And when it comes to kid-friendly food, the restaurant features a great mix of picky eater staples and seafood choices.

The BOATHOUSE serves lunch and dinner daily, as well as brunch on Saturdays and Sundays for a select time. Take a look at what’s on the menu for all three meal services below.

Disney Dining Plan

The BOATHOUSE does accept the Disney Dining Plan, but only the Disney Dining Plan can be used here. The Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan is not accepted.

Additionally, it’s worth noting that this is a pricier restaurant when it comes to your Disney Dining Plan credits. It’ll cost two table-service meal credits per person to dine here – that’s double your average table-service spot.

Advance Dining Reservations

You can make advance dining reservations (ADRs) for The BOATHOUSE, and Disney highly recommends making reservations ahead of your visit. While walk-up tables are available, they’re often quite limited.

You’ll want to plan to make your ADRs well in advance for this popular Disney Springs restaurant, so make sure to check when that 60-day window opens up ahead of your arrival.

Is The BOATHOUSE Kid-Friendly?

With its varied and extensive menu plus options tailored just to picky eaters, The BOATHOUSE is a great option for the whole family when you’re visiting Disney Springs. Kids of all ages will easily find food they can enjoy, and the atmosphere and theming inside are captivating, especially with a waterfront view.

However, it’s worth noting that The BOATHOUSE is one of Disney World’s Fine/Signature Dining options. That means the dining room and overall experience is more elevated than your typical table-service restaurant, with a more upscale feel. As a result, you may want to skip this dining spot with very young kids or kids who tend to be a bit more rambunctious in quiet or adult-tailored settings.
