Celebrate like it’s Fat Tuesday at Mardi Grogs, a quick-service poolside bar at Disney’s Port Orleans – French Quarter Resort. Featuring theming inspired by the spirited nature of New Orleans, here you can pop out of the pool or stop by after a walk alongside the Sassagoula River to grab bites or beverages.

Mardi Grogs Location

You’ll find Mardi Grogs at Disney’s Port Orleans – French Quarter Resort near the on-property pool. It’s just a short walk away from Sassagoula Floatworks & Food Factory as well as the French Quarter Landing where guests can pick up convenient boat transportation.

Mardi Grogs Menu

Mardi Grogs is open along with the Port Orleans – French Quarter’s pool each day, meaning you can stop by to grab a meal or drink from mid-morning well into the evening hours. The fare is inspired by the American South, meaning you’ll find staples like pimento cheese and even boiled peanuts on the menu.

The food selection at Mardi Grogs leans toward light pool‑side dishes rather than full multi‑course meals. You’ll find snacks as well as salads and sandwich‑style items round out the offerings.

When it comes to beverages, Mardi Grogs fully leans into its New Orleans‑inspired theme. The bar offers a large list of specialty frozen and on‑the‑rocks cocktails (think Hurricanes and banana rum blends) as well as beers, wines and non‑alcoholic smoothies and lemonades.

Disney Dining Plan

You can use credits from the Disney Dining Plan (both versions – the Disney Dining Plan and the Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan) at Mardi Grogs.

It’ll cost you one quick-service meal credit per person if you opt for an entrée or one snack credit per person if you choose an eligible snack.

Advance Dining Reservations

Since Mardi Grogs is a pool bar (and a quick-service dining spot), you won’t find advance dining reservations (ADRs) offered. Instead, you’ll need to visit in person when you’re hoping to grab a bite or a drink here.

Is Mardi Grogs Kid-Friendly?

Mardi Grogs is fairly kid-friendly, thanks to its laid-back nature, poolside location, and family-friendly vibes. It’s conveniently located so families can grab bites or meals while the kids splash and play (or maybe even relax).

However, with no dedicated kids’ menu and a very limited selection of picky eater options, it isn’t the best place to grab a nutritious or filling meal if you have little ones in tow. KIds may not find anything they’re willing to eat here, so your odds may be better at another French Quarter dining spot.
