This Disney World table-service restaurant makes for one incredible experience, and it features a mix of dishes inspired by East African and Indian cuisine as well as some stellar views of animals roaming the Sunset Savanna just outside the restaurant’s windows.

Sanaa Location

Sanaa is located at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas – Kidani Village. This is one of the Disney Vacation Club resorts within the larger Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge complex. 

You can find Sanaa (and its accompanying lounge) located downstairs from the lobby.

Sanaa Menu

Sanaa may be a table-service restaurant, but it’s one that offers two distinctly different dining experiences. 

Head to Sanaa in the morning, and you can enjoy the Kuamsha Breakfast, which is actually a quick-service meal that doesn’t require an advance dining reservation (ADR). Visit for lunch or dinner, and you’ll get the full Sanaa dining experience, which does require reservations and is a true table-service meal.

All of the food served at Sanaa is centered around African cooking and Indian flavors, offering a more unique spin on the meal compared to your average theme park or hotel meal. Guests (namely adults) will love the variety and range of spices and flavor profiles.

Disney Dining Plan

Sanaa does accept the Disney Dining Plan, so you can easily use your credits here. Just keep in mind that since it’s a table-service restaurant (at least during lunch and dinner, the only two meals during which plan credits are accepted), you cannot use the Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan here.

Advance Dining Reservations

Like all of Disney World’s table-service spots, Sanaa does offer advance dining reservations, or ADRs. Reservations can book up fast, so you’ll want to start looking for an opening as soon as that 60-day booking window opens up.

Sanaa might be a bit out of the way due to its location at Kidani Village, but it’s one of the most in-demand restaurants. As a result, ADRs can be a bit tricky to get throughout the year, so don’t forget to keep checking often if you’re particularly interested in dining here.

Is Sanaa Kid-Friendly?

Sanaa is a bit out of the usual wheelhouse for most kids, especially very young diners. But while the African-forward menu might be a little intimidating for kids, it’s actually a pretty family-friendly restaurant.

This table-service dining spot is casual enough that kids of all ages can enjoy a meal here, and there’s some extra-special entertainment that’ll make little ones happy: views of animals roaming outside. Plus, like all Disney World restaurants, Sanaa welcomes kids regularly, so no one will bat an eye if your little ones are a bit wiggly.

When it comes to kid-friendly food, Sanaa does offer a mix of options that suit both adventurous little diners and picky eaters. Staples like cheeseburgers and pizza sit alongside butter chicken, offering kids as much or as little in way of unique flavors as they’re willing to try. 

As a result, Sanaa can be a great compromise for families where adults want more adventurous food and kids do not.
