Located at the base of Expedition Everest in Disney’s Animal Kingdom, Thirsty River Bar & Trek Snacks is a casual, walk-up spot inspired by the spirit of global adventure. Blending Himalayan influences with the energy of a bustling trailhead, it’s the perfect place to grab a refreshing cocktail, craft beer, or quick bite—no reservations required.

Thirsty River Bar Location

Thirsty River Bar offers a rotating mix of specialty cocktails, frozen drinks, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic refreshers. You can also pick up grab-and-go snacks like chips, ice cream novelties, and light bites. While the menu is more limited compared to a full-service restaurant, it’s designed for convenience and quick refueling between attractions.

If you’re in the mood for a full Italian meal—fresh pastas, wood-fired pizzas, or hearty mains—you’ll want to head inside the restaurant. But if you’re simply craving a cocktail and a small bite, the outdoor bar offers a relaxed atmosphere with a more limited menu.

  • Tampa Bay Old Elephant Foot IPA: Classic IPA with bold hops
  • Safari Amber: Smooth amber lager
  • Bud Light Lager: Light American lager
  • Owl’s Brew Black Tea & Pineapple Hard Tea: Black tea blended with pineapple

Bottled and Canned Beer and Hard Seltzer

  • Kona Longboard Island Lager: Crisp island-style lager
  • Tiger Eye Gold Ale: Tropical fruit malt with spicy hops
  • Funky Buddha Floridian Hefeweizen: Bright, citrusy hefeweizen

Since it’s a walk-up bar, you won’t need an  advance dining reservations (ADRs) at Thirsy River Bar.
