Home to a menu filled with contemporary Mexican food and an open kitchen that doubles as a design element (and some tableside entertainment!), Frontera Cocina is a table-service restaurant within Disney Springs that offers food to please guests of all ages.

Sure, staples like chips and salsa are on the menu, but so too are Oaxacan mole, carne asada, and red bean refritos – along with plenty of margaritas, agave flights, and more just for adults.

Frontera Cocina Location

Frontera Cocina sits in the Town Center neighborhood of Disney Springs, just around the corner from the Disney Springs Welcome Center and just across the water (and bridge) from Morimoto Asia.

Frontera Cocina Menu

Frontera Cocina serves modern Mexican cuisine, meaning you’ll likely recognize plenty of items on the menu. However, many do have contemporary twists, like the uniquely chewy texture of the restaurant’s queso fundido.

Lunch and dinner are served at this restaurant, and you have two dining options. You can enjoy a meal at a table inside the Frontera Cocina dining room or head to the To Go window outside to grab food to go. No matter which option you choose, you can check out what’s on the menu below.

Disney Dining Plan

Frontera Cocina does not accept either version of the Disney Dining Plan.

Advance Dining Reservations

As a table-service restaurant, Frontera Cocina does accept advance dining reservations (ADRs), and Disney recommends booking your ADR in advance of your visit.

However, Frontera Cocina isn’t one of the most in-demand restaurants at Disney World (or even Disney Springs). As a result, you’ll likely be able to nab a last-minute reservation or walk-up table without worry, unless you’re visiting during a particularly busy time of the year.

Is Frontera Cocina Kid-Friendly?

While Frontera Cocina might seem a little adventurous for notoriously picky eaters, it’s actually quite a kid- and family-friendly restaurant. This Disney Springs dining spot does offer a kids menu, and it’s filled with more familiar fare like quesadillas and shredded chicken.

Additionally, the atmosphere at Frontera Cocina is definitely kid-friendly. While it’s a “nice” restaurant, it’s welcoming enough that no one will bat an eye at little kids who might be less-than-perfectly behaved throughout the meal. And what kid doesn’t love snacking on chips before their meal arrives?
