Disney World Annual Overview
To start things off, what is a Disney World Annual Pass? Purchasing an Annual Pass is essentially a ticket to get into Disney World frequently throughout the year. There are four different Annual Pass tiers, each one offering a different number of blackout dates when you can and cannot visit the parks.
If you are not a Disney Vacation Club member or Florida resident, you have only one choice for your Annual Pass: the Disney Incredi-Pass. This gives you unlimited access to the parks throughout the year, along with the perks and discounts of being a Passholder. For Florida residents and Disney Vacation Club members, you have the option of the Disney Sorcerer Pass, which is a little less expensive and comes with only a handful of blackout dates. After that, you have the Disney Pirate Pass followed by the Disney Pixie Dust Pass, both of which are only available for Florida residents and come with more blackout dates than either of the top tiers.

The Pixie Dust Pass is the most inexpensive option, with more blackout dates than the other pass tiers. You can make up to three Park Pass reservations at a time with the Pixie Dust Pass, and it is only eligible for Florida residents.

Disney Pirate Pass
The Pirate Pass is the second least expensive Disney World annual pass option, with fewer blockout dates than the Pixie Dust Pass, but more than the Sorcerer Pass or Incredi-Pass. You are able to make up to four Park Pass reservations at a time with the Pirate Pass, and it is only eligible for Florida residents.

There are no blockout dates for Disney Incredi-Passholders, giving this tier unrestricted access to the parks throughout the year.

When you purchase a Disney World Annual Pass, there are two additional add-ons you can purchase for an additional cost.
Water Park and Sports Option ($99 plus tax)
With this add-on, you will get admission to one of the following per day during the duration of your pass:

What Are Bonus Reservations?
All Annual Passes are given access to “bonus reservations.” These reservations can be used in addition to your assigned allotment on Park Pass reservations and are added to the Disney World calendar periodically, mostly during less busy times of year.
Does the Disney World Annual Pass Come with Free Parking?
All levels of Annual Passes include free parking at the theme parks.

Here’s what annual passes cost when they were last on sale under the old program:

As you can see, there had been three extra tiers available unlike the current program.
How Does the Florida Resident Monthly Payment Program Work?
If you live in Florida, you can pay for your Disney World Annual Pass on a payment program. No matter which tier of pass you purchase, there is a $205 down payment. You will then pay a monthly payment over 12 months with 0% APR. If you’re a Florida resident, you can also pay $99 as a down payment and the remainder over the course of 12 months.
What If I Live Just Outside of Florida?
Only Florida residents are eligible for the Florida Resident Monthly Payment Program and the three tiers of passes (Pixie Dust, Pirate, and Sorcerer) that are reserved for Florida residents only.
Can I Get More Park Reservations If I Stay at a Resort?
You get a guaranteed park reservation when you stay on Walt Disney World Property as an Annual Passholder. This does not count as one of your reservations through your pass. For example, if you have the Incredi-Pass with five park reservations and currently have four used up, you can book a stay at Port Orleans with guaranteed park reservations and still leave that final park reservation up for grabs for another day.
