At Disney’s Contemporary Resort, guests can take part in an extra-special dining experience: Celebration at the Top – Sip, Savor Sparkle. This isn’t your regular dinner or late-night meal. Instead, it’s a cocktail party held on the Contemporary’s private observation deck, which is only accessible to Celebration at the Top guests, complete with exceptional fireworks views.
Celebration at the Top is considered a Disney Signature Dining experience, which means you can expect the quality and atmosphere to be on par with fine dining restaurants (and yes, there’s a dress code!).
Note: Because Celebration at the Top is a dining event, not a traditional sit-down meal, you’ll want to consider it an add-on.
Celebration at the Top – Sip, Savor, Sparkle Location
Celebration at the Top takes place on the 15th floor of the Contemporary, so guests will take the exclusive California Grill guest elevator up to reach the observation deck.
Celebration at the Top – Sip, Savor, Sparkle Menu
Celebration at the Top is no average Disney World meal. This is a cocktail party paired with one-of-a-kind fireworks views – and yes, the music and sounds of the live in-park show will play just for you on the private observation deck.
While you’re waiting for or watching the fireworks spectacular, you’ll have the opportunity to enjoy small bites, sushi, and some favorite dishes from California Grill at the Contemporary. Desserts and drinks, including wine, beer, and cordials for the 21-and-up crowd, will also be available.
Note: In addition to the elevated fare and ambiance, you’ll want to keep the dress code in mind. Guests are expected to “dress accordingly in attire that respects the restaurant’s sophisticated and upscale aesthetic,” according to the Disney World website. That means you’ll need to wear clean, neat clothing (no swimwear allowed).
Disney Dining Plan
The Disney Dining Plan isn’t accepted for Celebration at the Top, so you cannot use credits from either version of the plan (Disney Dining Plan or Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan) here.
Advance Dining Reservations
Advance dining reservations (ADRs) are required for guests hoping to experience Celebration at the Top. Since it’s a dining experience, you’ll need to both reserve a spot and pay for your meal in advance of your visit.
Is Celebration at the Top – Sip, Savor, Sparkle Kid-Friendly?
Kids are welcome at Celebration at the Top, and they’re highly likely to enjoy the one-of-a-kind high-up view of the Magic Kingdom’s fireworks. However, because this is a Fine/Signature Dining event, it may be a bit too fancy for the littlest guests (like toddlers). Additionally, the more elevated cuisine served at this experience may not cater to their tastes.
You’ll also want to keep bedtime in mind. For some kids, this experience may take place a bit too late in the evening for them to fully enjoy it. And, with a price tag of over $125 per person – including kids – it may not be worth the investment.
