Spending a resort day at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa? You’re going to want to hit up Backstretch Pool Bar while you’re relaxing and the kids are playing in the pool. This quick-service restaurant and poolside bar is the perfect place to rest your feet, have a cold drink, and enjoy some snacks off the menu of American classics.

Backstretch Pool Bar Location

You’ll find Backstretch Pool Bar located right next to the swimming pool at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa. It’s in The Grandstand section, next to the sole pool for this area of the resort.

Backstretch Pool Bar Menu

The menu at Backstretch Pool Bar isn’t extensive, but it offers a mix of beverages, entrée-sized meals, and lighter bites. Open for lunch and dinner (though the bar closes at 6:00 PM, so a bit earlier than other Disney World options), you can easily satisfy big and small appetites here.

The food on the menu at Backstretch Pool Bar isn’t fancy; it’s primarily American theme park food. Familiar staples like popcorn, churros, and even hot dogs will be popular with kids and adults – but keep in mind there is no dedicated kids’ menu here, so everything is adult-sized, serving wise.

See what’s on the menu at the Backstretch Pool Bar below.

Saratoga Specialties

  • Saratoga Turkey Wrap
  • Foot-long Hot Dog
  • Caesar Salad with Grilled Chicken

Poolside Bites

  • Mickey-shaped Pretzel with Cheese
  • Fruit and Cheese
  • Churro with Chocolate Sauce
  • Popcorn
  • PB&J Uncrustable
  • Banana Pudding Cup
  • Bears in Dirt
  • Mixed Fruit Cup

Desserts

  • Chocolate Chunk Cookie
  • Chocolate Fudge Brownie
  • Nestle Mickey’s Premium Ice Cream Bar
  • Nestle Mickey’s Premium Ice Cream Sandwich

Assorted non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages also available.

Disney Dining Plan

Backstretch Pool Bar does accept the Disney Dining Plan, and you can use both the Disney Dining Plan and the Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan here for a meal or snack.

It’ll cost you one quick-service meal credit per person if you’re ordering an entrée (or Saratoga Specialty) here, and one snack credit if you’re opting for an eligible snack instead.

Advance Dining Reservations

Since Backstretch Pool Bar is, well, a poolside bar, you won’t find any advance dining reservations (ADRs) offered here. Instead, guests can just stop by whenever the bar is open to place orders.

Is Backstretch Pool Bar Kid-Friendly?

With staple theme park foods on the menu and simple meals, it’s safe to say that Backstretch Pool Bar is kid-friendly. Hot dogs, Uncrustables, and smaller bites – plus plenty of sweet treat choices – will all cater right to kids of all ages.

With no indoor seating space save for a few seats at the bar, it’s also a great option if you’re hoping to keep energetic kids playing and entertained. There are shaded tables and scattered spaces to dine around the pool deck, offering plenty of space for little ones who may not want to sit still.

However, if you’re working with picky eaters who need a dedicated kids’ menu (or perhaps won’t enjoy anything on the smaller menu here), you may want to try another quick-service restaurant that offers more variety or the ability to customize meals a bit more for their tastes.
