by | Jan 22, 2026 | Main Street, U.S.A., Table Service Restaurants

The Plaza Restaurant is a charming table-service restaurant that brings all of the vintage turn-of-the-century vibes on Main Street, U.S.A. in Magic Kingdom. Step inside, and you’ll dine in a setting that feels elegant yet relaxed enough for families. The Plaza serves up classic American fare with a touch of comfort-food warmth, making it a nice option when you want a full sit-down meal without leaving the park.

The Plaza Restaurant Location

The Plaza Restaurant sits on the right-hand side of Main Street, U.S.A., just before you reach the central hub in front of Cinderella Castle

The Plaza Restaurant Menu

The Plaza Restaurant offers lunch and dinner service, featuring a variety of familiar, comfort-style American dishes. The menu includes lighter options for those who want something simple, as well as heartier entrées for bigger appetites — a good mix for families with different tastes and hunger levels.

At The Plaza Restaurant, you’ll find an array of popular picks, including sandwiches and burgers, meatloaf, grilled chicken, and even salads. When it comes to kids’ meals, the familiar far (namely burgers and chicken strips) are sure to please even the pickiest of diners.

As a whole, the menu leans toward familiar flavors and straightforward comfort food, which makes The Plaza Restaurant a safe bet for kids of every age — but it’s also hearty enough for adult appetites as well.

Disney Dining Plan

The Plaza Restaurant accepts the Disney Dining Plan, but because it is a table-service dining spot, you won’t be able to use the Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan here.

Meals here count as table-service credits, and it’ll cost you one table-service meal credit per person.

Advance Dining Reservations

The Plaza Restaurant does offer advance dining reservations (ADRs), and we recommend booking one ahead of your visit.

Because it’s a sit-down, table-service restaurant and located right along the Magic Kingdom’s main drag (Main Street), reservations are recommended, especially during busy park days or peak meal times.

Is The Plaza Restaurant Kid-Friendly?

Yes, The Plaza Restaurant is very family-friendly. The menu includes plenty of kid-pleasing options like burgers, fries, and simpler entrées. The relaxed, welcoming atmosphere lets children dine without pressure, and parents can enjoy a comfortable sit-down break.

For families wanting a full meal — not just snacks or quick bites — The Plaza hits the right balance between convenience, familiarity, and comfort.
