Main Street, U.S.A., serves as your introduction to Magic Kingdom. As you enter the park, you’ll be met with a land themed to an American small town from the early 20th century, including a train station and Town Square. At the end of Main Street, U.S.A., you’ll be met with the sight of the iconic Cinderella Castle. While you won’t find many of your traditional rides or attractions in this area of the park, you will find plenty of shopping, food, and even the chance to meet Mickey Mouse!

Main Street, U.S.A. Attractions

While Main Street, U.S.A., isn’t home to any major “thrill” rides, there are a few attractions and character locations that you can find throughout the entry point to Magic Kingdom. Here’s exactly what you can find in the area:

  • Walt Disney World Railroad: The Walt Disney World Railroad circles the park, but you’ll find its main hub at Main Street, U.S.A. You can choose to board the train here, or at its other stations in Fantasyland and Frontierland.
  • Main Street Vehicles: At select times, the Main Street Vehicles (including a horse-drawn street car, jitney, and fire engine) are available for guests to ride on a fixed route down Main Street, U.S.A.
  • Town Square Theater: Town Square Theater is where you can meet Mickey Mouse! The queue will take you through to Mickey’s rehearsal room, where you’ll discover props and posters from his magical career alongside a photo op with Mickey himself.

Guest Services

  • City Hall: Over at City Hall, you’ll find Guest Relations, as well as the Lost and Found Center.
  • First Aid: Located to the left of The Crystal Palace, nurses are on hand to offer over-the-counter medications, bandages, and other smaller remedies.
  • Baby Care Center: Located to the left of The Crystal Palace, the fully staffed facility offers helpful amenities for parents with infants and toddlers.

Main Street, U.S.A. Quick-Service Restaurants

The area is home to a handful of quick-service restaurants that offer faster dining options for you and your group (so make sure to check out if a mobile order is available!). Here is everything you’ll find available for quick-service dining.

  • Main Street Bakery: A Starbucks location themed to fit in with the area. Along with an extensive coffee menu, you’ll find other refreshments as well as Disney-themed baked goods and breakfast sandwiches.
  • Plaza Ice Cream Parlor: A nostalgic ice cream parlor where you can grab hand-scooped ice cream, waffle cones, and sundaes.
  • Casey’s Corner: A baseball-themed location connected to Emporium. You can pick up ballpark favorites such as hot dogs, corn dogs, nachos, and fries.

Main Street, U.S.A. Table Service Restaurants

There are three main table service restaurants in the area, including character dining at The Crystal Palace, as well as a Lady and the Tramp-themed eatery at Tony’s Town Square. Here is everything you’ll find for table service dining:

  • The Plaza Restaurant: A casual eatery themed to early 20th-century style. While a sit-down restaurant, you’ll find lighter fare such as sandwiches, burgers, salads, and desserts.
  • The Crystal Palace: Dine with Winnie the Pooh and friends with an all-you-care-to-eat buffet for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. The character meal is located in a restaurant inspired by a late 1800s Victorian greenhouse, with great views of Cinderella Castle.
  • Tony’s Town Square: Dine on Italian fare like pasta, pizza, and more in this restaurant themed after Lady and the Tramp.

Along with quick-service and table service restaurants, there are a few snack spots and carts you’ll find throughout Main Street, U.S.A.

  • Main Street Popcorn Cart: Serving popcorn, beverages, and ice cream novelties near the entrance/exit to the park.
  • Main Street Ice Cold Refreshment Cart: Located near Cinderella Castle, serves popcorn, churros, pretzels, and beverages.

Main Street, U.S.A. Shopping

If you want to go shopping, Main Street, U.S.A. is certainly the place to do it! There are quite a few shopping locations near the entrance of the park, including:

  • Box Office Gifts: Selling art and collectibles near Town Square Theater.
  • Curtain Call Collectibles: Get your Mickey hat embroidered, or pick up Minnie Ears and accessories in this shop located near Town Square Theater.
  • Emporium: The biggest store in Magic Kingdom, filled with every kind of Disney souvenir you could possibly think of.
  • Main Street Confectionery: An old-fashioned candy shop with delicious treats such as candy apples, Mickey rice krispies, and more.
  • Harmony Barber Shop: A classic barber shop providing beard trims and haircuts for both children and adults.
  • Crystal Arts: A shop specializing in crystal, glass, jewelry, art, and collectibles. Also features daily glass blowing demonstrations.
  • Main Street Cinema: Store offering artwork and keepsakes.
  • Uptown Jewelers: The selection includes handbags, watches, jewelry, and other accessories.

Main Street, U.S.A. Entertainment

  • Festival of Fantasy: Mickey Mouse and his Fantasyland friends take part in a parade that will come down Main Street, U.S.A.
  • Happily Ever After Fireworks: A nighttime spectacular that takes place each evening. Disney stories are brought to life on Cinderella Castle and down Main Street, U.S.A. through the use of fireworks, projections, lights, and lasers.
  • Mickey’s Magical Friendship Faire: Mickey and friends take to the Castle Forecourt Stage at Cinderella Castle throughout the day.


There are plenty of opportunities for character interactions in this part of the park. Over at Town Square Theater, you can meet Mickey in his dedicated meet-and-greet. During the Festival of Fantasy parade, you will also have the chance to interact with a variety of characters participating in the parade.

Additionally, you can occasionally see characters greeting guests from the train station balcony, or meeting with guests over by Curtain Call Collectibles. While there are not dedicated times for these, make sure to check out the area while you are nearby.
