A relative newcomer to Disneyland Resort’s Downtown Disney District, Céntrico opened as one of the first new additions during the area’s 2024 reimaging. The circular restaurant acts as an energetic central gathering place for guests to come together and features a menu of Mexican dishes created by Michelin-starred chef Carlos Gaytán.

Céntrico Location

Céntrico is true to its name: The open-air restaurant sits right in the middle of Downtown Disney, centrally located in between spots like Ballast Point Brewing Co., Black Tap Craft Burgers & Shakes, Paseo, and Tiendita.

Céntrico Menu

If you enjoy some good Mexican food, you’ll love everything on the menu at Céntrico. It captures the ingredients and staple dishes of the cuisine perfectly, with options both relatively familiar – quesadillas, for example – and more adventurous. Southern California staples like fish tacos, carne asada and al pastor, and even quesabirrias all are featured here.

A dedicated kids’ menu offers dishes for younger, pickier diners, too.

Both lunch and dinner are served at this Downtown Disney restaurant, but the menu stays the same for both meals. See what’s on the menu at Céntrico below.

Advance Dining Reservations

Céntrico is a table-service restaurant, so advance dining reservations (ADRs) are recommended. However, since this is a relatively new restaurant, it often isn’t crowded and reservations – and walk-up tables – are both readily available.

You’ll find that if you’re in need of a last-minute place to dine, Céntrico is an excellent option. Don’t want to risk failing to get a walk-up spot? You can usually make last-minute reservations in the Disneyland app up to hours before you’re ready to dine.

Is Céntrico Kid-Friendly?

Céntrico is undeniably more adult-leaning, both in its ambiance and its menu. The outdoor dining space circles a bar, and while there are traditional tables to dine at, there are also low-slung couches set around firepits and other more lounge-style spots throughout.

The environment here definitely caters more towards adults, and if you don’t want to chase your kids around low-sitting firepits or keep an eye on them around a bar, you may want to skip Céntrico during your visit. Older kids will likely do fine here, but toddlers… not so much (and I say that as the parent of a Mexican-food-obsessed toddler!).

Additionally, with Mexican fare on the menu here, you’ll want to make sure your kids are happy dining on quesadillas or tacos. Chicken tenders and mac and cheese are both on the menu, but double-check with your pickiest eaters before booking a table.
