If you’re looking for a place to kick back and relax with a glass of wine – South African wine, to be exact – or to gather and grab a bite or cocktail, Sanaa Lounge is an inviting bar you’ll want to consider.

This tucked-away space offers a small menu of light bites, cocktails, wines, and more. Plus, if you can’t nab a reservation for Sanaa, Sanaa Lounge offers some of the best bites (yes, we’re talking about Sanaa’s Bread Service!) without requiring reservations.

Sanaa Lounge Location

You’ll find Sanaa Lounge at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas – Kidani Village. It’s in the furthest portion of the larger Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge property, inside one of the Disney Vacation Club villas resorts.

Once you’re at Kidani Village, you’ll want to head downstairs towards Sanaa. The lounge is located just off the restaurant’s entrance.

Sanaa Lounge Menu

Like any other Disney World bar, the menu focus at Sanaa Lounge centers around drinks – specifically, drinks for the 21-plus crowd. South African wines are the star of the show, but so too are specialty cocktails.

While Sanaa itself often wraps up dinner service by about 9:30 PM most nights, Sanaa Lounge offers later hours and a chance to get a taste of the menu (and the drinks menu) later into the evening.

Here’s what you’ll find on the Sanaa Lounge menu.

Disney Dining Plan

Because Sanaa Lounge is a bar and serves a very limited menu of shareable food items, the Disney Dining Plan is not accepted here.

Neither the Disney Dining Plan or Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan can be used here.

Advance Dining Reservations

Sanaa Lounge, like most of Disney World’s bars and lounges, does not offer advance dining reservations (ADRs). You’ll have to walk up when you’re interested in grabbing a drink or a bite.

While Sanaa Lounge does offer seating at its bar and a few banquette-style tables, the bar is what’s usually open for walk-up guests. The banquette seats are typically reserved for guests dining at Sanaa who are stopping by for a pre-dinner drink.

Is Sanaa Lounge Kid-Friendly?

Since Sanaa Lounge is a bar at heart, it’s not really a place you’ll want to bring little kids. It’s a place best reserved for the 21-and-up crowd, since there isn’t much here for kids of any age to enjoy.

If you wouldn’t bring your kids to any other bar, you’ll probably want to skip Sanaa Lounge. With little on the menu they can enjoy – sure, the Bread Service is delicious, but it’s also not quite kid-friendly – you’ll want to save this for a date night or adults-only visit.
