If you’re headed to Disney World or Disneyland with kids under 5, you’re going to want to know about this secret spot inside the theme parks.

Heads up, parents of little kids. If you’re visiting Disney World or Disneyland with babies or toddlers, there’s one under-the-radar service you absolutely need to know about: Disney Baby Care Centers.

These quiet, air-conditioned spaces are designed specifically for families with little ones, and they can make your park day infinitely easier. Yet, surprisingly, many parents walk right past them without even realizing they exist.

For new parents, Disney’s Baby Care Centers are something of a well-kept secret. Until you’re a parent who desperately needs more diapers, baby food, wipes, or other essentials, you’re unlikely to hear much about them.

But I’m here to tell you it’s absolutely worth your time to stop by a Disney Baby Care Center the next time you’re at Disney World or Disneyland. Here’s everything you need to know — including locations, amenities, and why they’re a lifesaver for families with children under 5.

What Are Disney Baby Care Centers?

Disney Baby Care Centers are exactly what they sound like: Centers designed to help fulfill parents’ baby care needs.

Inside any given Baby Care Center, you’ll find essentials for parents of infants, including private, quiet areas to nurse; high chairs, microwaves, and other essentials to feed babies who are just starting solids; areas to prepare bottles of formula; and baby changing stations with cushy padding. Other essentials you’ll find include:

• Private nursing rooms with comfortable seating
• Changing stations with cushioned pads
• Feeding areas with high chairs and microwaves
• Bottle prep stations for formula
• Toddler-sized toilets that are perfect for potty training
• Quiet areas for rocking or calming children
• Helpful Cast Members ready to assist

Forget something or run out of supplies? No need to trek back to your hotel or leave the park — the Baby Care Center likely has what you need. If you happened to forget or run out of any crucial supplies – like diapers, wipes, baby-safe snacks, pacifiers, and even infant medications like Motrin – while you’re in the parks, the Disney Baby Care Centers offer vending machines that can deliver exactly what you need. It’s hugely helpful, especially if you need multiples of any items (like diapers or complete diaper care kits, complete with diaper cream.)

Where Are Disney Baby Care Centers Located?

There is one baby care center located in each one of the theme parks at both Disney World and Disneyland. Here’s where you can find them:

• Disney’s Animal Kingdom: Near the Discovery Island Trails, attached to Creature Comforts
• Disney’s Hollywood Studios: Just past the park’s main entrance, off to the left (before you reach Crossroads of the World)
• EPCOT: At the Odyssey
• Magic Kingdom Park: Just off Main Street, U.S.A. behind Casey’s Corner and next to the Crystal Palace
• Disneyland Park: Just off Main Street, U.S.A. across from Little Red Wagon
• Disney California Adventure Park: In San Fransokyo Square, right behind  Ghirardelli Soda Fountain & Chocolate Shop 

Disney’s Baby Care Centers Aren’t Just for Infants

Think you won’t need to stop by any of the baby care centers while you’re visiting Disney World or Disneyland because you don’t have an infant? Think again – because these quiet, air-conditioned destinations have a lot to offer parents with little ones of all ages.

Frankly, if you’re headed to the parks with kids who are 3 years old or younger, don’t sleep on Disney’s baby care centers. 

While there are a lot of amenities inside the baby care centers at Disney World and Disneyland that are targeted to infants and parents of infants, toddler parents can benefit from them, too. Sure, you might not need a private spot to nurse; but you may need to stock up on some kid-friendly snacks, use a toddler toilet, or need to change your kids’ clothes – and the baby care center is the perfect place to do so.

Honestly, with how nice the services are inside the baby care centers, I’m going to keep using them until my son completely ages out. Plus, when you’re potty training, there’s really nowhere better to find a toddler-sized toilet that’s easy to use and tailored just for little ones. And on chilly nights, there’s no better place to change kids into cozier, warmer clothes.

So, no matter what you might need as a parent, you’re going to want to at least stop into a Disney baby care center if you’ve got kids 3 and under to see if it offers what you need during your next visit.
