Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind is an exciting adventure through space alongside Marvel characters, located in World Discovery at EPCOT. Virtual Queue

There are only two ways to currently ride Cosmic Rewing: a virtual queue or a Lightning Lane. For a virtual queue, you have two opportunities. The first is to join at 7 AM, which can be done from outside the resort (but requires you to have an EPCOT park reservation). The second is at 1 PM, and must be done from within the park.

Queue

The queue for Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind transports guests into the Wonders of Xandar pavilion. As you make your way through the detailed queue, you’ll explore exhibits showcasing the culture, technology, and history of Xandar. The queue features interactive displays and captivating visuals that set the stage for your cosmic adventure. The journey continues in the pre-show area, where you receive a mission briefing from the Guardians themselves.

Accessibility

Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind is accessible to guests who use wheelchairs or scooters. Guests must transfer from their mobility device to the ride vehicle either independently or with assistance from their party.

On-Ride Photo

An on-ride photo is captured during one of the most exciting moments on Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. The photo will be available for download on your My Disney Experience app if you have purchased Memory Maker.

Ride Tips

The ride is one of the most popular attractions in EPCOT, often experiencing long wait times. The only ways to expeirence are through virtual queue or a paid Lightning Lane. However, if you are attending an after hours event or Extended Evening Hours, you may have an easier time getting on the ride!

Is Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind Kid-Friendly?

The attraction is suitable for big kids, pre-teens, teens, and adults who enjoy high-energy thrills and the Marvel universe. The height requirement ensures that young riders can safely enjoy the experience, but the intensity of the ride might be overwhelming for very young children. Kids who meet the height requirement and love an action-packed adventure will find this ride to be an exciting and memorable journey.

The ride features reverse launches, rapid turns, and dynamic movements through space, which can cause motion sickness for some guests. Additionally, the coaster moves and does spins on the track. If you have motions sickness, this is a major culprit that may be one to avoid.
