What to Pack When Bringing a Baby to Disney World

by | Mar 31, 2026 | Disney with Infants, Traveling with Kids, Walt Disney World

Heading to Disney World with a baby? Here’s exactly what to pack (from feeding essentials to strollers and carriers) to make your trip smoother.

Planning a trip to Walt Disney World with a baby is a completely different experience from traveling with older kids, and what you pack can make or break your day.

The good news? Disney is incredibly baby-friendly. The challenge is making sure you have the right gear on hand so you’re not constantly running back to your hotel or scrambling to find supplies in the parks.

After traveling with a baby to Disney, these are the essentials that truly make a difference.

Feeding Essentials That Make Life Easier

Feeding a baby in the parks (whether you’re breastfeeding, pumping, or using formula) requires a bit of extra planning. You’ll want everything easily accessible and quick to use, especially when your baby gets hungry in the middle of a long line or parade crowd.

One standout product for me has been the Bobbie Hot to Go Bottle, which is designed specifically for travel. It keeps water at the perfect temperature for mixing formula on demand, which means you don’t have to hunt down hot water or wait in a quick-service line just to prep a bottle. At Disney, that convenience is huge.

Beyond that, pack more than you think you’ll need: extra bottles, formula, snacks if your baby is eating solids, and a lightweight cooler if necessary. Having everything in one organized section of your diaper bag can save you from stressful moments when your baby needs to eat right now.

A Stroller That Can Handle Long Park Days

A good stroller isn’t just helpful at Disney, it’s essential. Even if your baby is comfortable being carried, the parks involve miles of walking, long days, and overstimulation. A stroller gives your baby a place to nap, reset, and stay shaded.

The Mockingbird Stroller has been a great option for Disney trips because it balances comfort and practicality. It has a large canopy for sun protection, generous storage underneath for your park bag, and a smooth ride that handles crowded pathways well. It’s also sturdy enough for full-day use, which matters more than you might expect after hour six in the parks. Plus, it has an option to add a second seat or riding board, perfect for our older toddler.

While travel strollers are tempting, many families find that a more full-featured stroller ends up being worth it for the added comfort and storage.

A Baby Carrier for Flexibility

Even with a stroller, there will be plenty of moments where you’ll want to wear your baby. Lines, transportation, attractions, and tight spaces can all make strollers inconvenient.

That’s where a comfortable, supportive carrier comes in. The Mabe Monarch Carrier is especially useful for Disney days because it’s designed for longer wear. It distributes weight evenly, which makes a noticeable difference when you’re standing in line or walking for extended periods.

Having a carrier also makes it easier to navigate attractions where strollers aren’t allowed, and it can be a lifesaver when your baby just wants to be held in a busy, overstimulating environment.

Diaper Bag Must-Haves

Your diaper bag is your command center for the day, and at Disney, you’ll rely on it constantly. In addition to the basics like diapers and wipes, there are a few extras that make a big difference.

A portable changing pad is key, especially for quick changes in the parks. Extra outfits are non-negotiable; between heat, spills, and diaper mishaps, you’ll likely need them. Baby-safe sunscreen, a hat, and a small blanket for shade or naps also go a long way in keeping your baby comfortable.

It’s also worth packing a few small comforts from home, like a favorite toy or pacifier, to help your baby settle during downtime.

Don’t Forget the Parent Essentials

Packing for a baby often means parents forget about themselves, but your comfort matters too. Staying hydrated, having easy snacks on hand, and wearing comfortable clothing can make a huge difference in how the day feels.

When you’re prepared, everything runs more smoothly. You’ll spend less time problem-solving and more time actually enjoying the experience.
