The Edison

by | Jun 16, 2025 | Dining, Table Service Restaurants, The Landing

Step inside the Edison, a table service restaurant at Disney Springs, and you’ll feel like you’ve entered an electric company’s headquarters in the 1920s. Home to gothic-inspired styling, expansive ceilings, and themed dining rooms, this dining experience is as exuberant as it is inventive.

The Edison Location

You’ll find the Edison in The Landing neighborhood of Disney Springs. It sits near Maria & Enzo’s and Paradiso 37, Taste of the Americas.

The Edison Menu

While the Edison may give off sophisticated 1920s vibes, it’s surprisingly modern when it comes to what’s on the menu. Open for lunch and dinner, diners will find a mix of American staples on the menu here – all with twists inspired by the restaurant’s theming.

Much of the menu leans adult at the Edison, particularly when it comes to the appetizers and drink menu. But there’s a wide variety of options, including classics like a spin on cheesy spinach dip and bacon-topped deviled eggs. When it comes to entrees, classic burgers sit alongside steak, salmon, and even a grown-up version of PB&J.

There is a dedicated kids’ menu at the Edison, which includes dishes both picky eaters and more adventurous kids will love. As a result, anyone in your party should be able to find something that’ll please their tastes, however they may lean.

See what’s on the menu at the Edison below.

Disney Dining Plan

The Edison does accept the Disney Dining Plan, but since it’s a table service dining spot, you’ll only be able to use credits from the Disney Dining Plan (not the Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan) here.

It’ll cost you one table service meal credit per person to dine here for lunch or dinner.

Advance Dining Reservations

Like all of Disney World’s table service restaurants, it’s recommended that you make an advance dining reservation (ADR) before visiting the Edison for a meal. Spots can book up, so a reservation will ensure you nab a table ahead of your visit.

However, like many Disney Springs restaurants, you may find more last-minute or short-notice availability at the Edison. It’s popular, but not as popular as character dining experiences, for example, so you may have a bit more flexibility in scoring an ADR here.

Is The Edison Kid-Friendly?

If you’re stopping by the Edison for a family lunch or dinner, this dining spot is perfectly kid-friendly. It’s not as kid-oriented as restaurants in Disney World’s theme parks or, say, the very kid-focused T-REX or Rainforest Cafe. But it does offer plenty in the way of choices for guests of all ages, and the atmosphere is interesting enough for kids and adults.

However, if you’re planning to visit the Edison later in the evening – or on Friday or Saturday nights – you’ll encounter a more adult-friendly atmosphere. The Edison tends to offer adult entertainment like live bands, DJs, and even cabaret acts in the evening, which can bring a more adult crowd in. The bar gets particularly crowded, too, which means families will want to stick to earlier dining times.
