New Year’s Eve at Disney World

It might not be the first place you think of to ring in the new year, but New Year’s Eve at Walt Disney World can be glamourous, romantic, or fun for the whole family. Each park has it’s own special fireworks display just for New Year’s Eve (except Animal Kingdom) an there are lots of special dining packages avaiable to help you make your new year’s celebrations just right for your family.

New Year’s Eve at the Magic Kingdom

The biggest event o the night is at Magic Kingdom with the Fantasy in the Sky Fireworks display. In fact, they perform this show on Dec 30 and 31 at 11:50pm because it is so popular.

Elsewhere in the Magic Kingdom, you can dance the night away and Frontierland’s New Yea’rs Celebration Dance Party on December 30 and 31 from 7 PM to midnight!

New Year’s Eve at EPCOT

Enjoy a special New Year’s Eve Dinner at the world Show Place Pavilion where you can enjoy a special buffet, Disney music, and fun photo ops for theo whole family. There are various seating times throughout the night and you must call 407-WDW-DINE to book in advance.

Or, enjoy extra entertainment as a DJ performs at the America Gardens Theater and the Future World Stage all night long. EPCOT also offers a New Year’s Countdown Fireworks show – only on December 31 at 11:40pm.

New Year’s Eve at Disney’s Hollywood Studios

A DJ dance party starts at 7pm, and there are showings of Jingle Bell Jingle BAM! at 9pm AND Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular after midnight! But don’t worry – a huge park-wide countdown lets you know the new year has arrived!

New Year’s Eve Dining

At the WDW Resort Hotels you’ll find several restaurants with special seatings and menus for the evening, including California Grill, Chef Mickey’s, Monsieur Paul, Victoria and Albert’s, and more. Advanced Dining Reservations can be made online or by calling 407-WDW-DINE.

Various dining packages are available as well, including:

  • Disney Countdown to Midnight – At Disney’s Contemporary Resort, dine at Californai Grill and enjoy the Magic Kingdom fireworks.
  • Down in New Orleans – At Disney’s Contemporary Resort, enjoy a Princess and the Frog inspired feast with New Orleans flair.
  • Pixar Party – This family-friendly event allows parents and kids to celebrate togther with the magic of Pixar.
