A chilled mint julep and fresh, still-warm Mickey-shaped beignets makes for the perfect Disneyland Park snack. You’ll find these two iconic treats at the Mint Julep Bar, a quick-service stand that serves up both food and drinks that can draw impressive crowds.

Tucked away in New Orleans Square, the Mint Julep Bar is a Disneyland institution. It’s where the Mickey-shaped beignets originated (yep, even the Disney World version got its start here!), and it’s a longtime guest favorite.

Mint Julep Bar Location

The Mint Julep Bar is in New Orleans Square, located just behind Tiana’s Palace. It’s just steps away from the Disneyland Railroad station (in fact, you can see it from the train and the station!).

Mint Julep Bar Menu

The Mint Julep Bar keeps things simple, so the menu here isn’t too extensive. You’ll find two primary items: fresh-baked Mickey beignets and beverages.

While the menu rarely changes at the Mint Julep Bar, you’re in for a treat during certain seasons of the year. This quick-service stand does offer seasonal spins on the classics. For example, you can find a cranberry-infused mint julep and peppermint beignets during the holiday season for something different and extra festive.

The mint juleps are, obviously, the star of the show here. But if a nonalcoholic mint julep isn’t your style, there are also other soft drinks you can pair with your beignets.

See what’s on the menu at the Mint Julep Bar below.

Beignets

  • Mickey-shaped Beignets – 3 Pack
  • Mickey-shaped Beignets – 6 Pack
  • Assorted Mickey-shaped Beignets – 6 Pack

Beverages

  • Mint Julep Cup
  • New Orleans Mint Julep
  • Dasani Bottled Water
  • Coffee
  • Hot Tea
  • Hot Cocoa
  • Assorted Fountain Beverages
  • Minute Maid Apple Juice
  • Lowfat Milk

Advance Dining Reservations

Like all of Disneyland’s quick-service restaurants, the Mint Julep Bar doesn’t offer any advance dining reservations. You can visit this walk-up spot any time it’s open – no pre-planning required.

If you are hoping to save some time or skip the (very) long line during peak hours, you’ll definitely want to take advantage of Disneyland’s Mobile Order service. Available right in the Disneyland app, this handy perk lets you place an order for a cool mint julep, warm beignets, or anything else on the menu in advance so you can show up at your chosen arrival window and have your food prepared ASAP.

Is Mint Julep Bar Kid-Friendly?

While traditional mint juleps may be more adult-friendly than kid-friendly, Disneyland’s Mint Julep Bar is perfect for all ages. Here, the drinks are booze-free – and the treats can be enjoyed by anyone.

If your kids enjoy Mickey-shaped food, doughnuts, or just sweets in general, they’ll love what’s on the menu at the Mint Julep Bar. While the namesake mint juleps themselves may be a bit of an acquired taste for pickier eaters, overall this is a great spot to grab a snack or cool down.

Plus, who doesn’t want to enjoy a classic New Orleans treat right at Tiana’s Palace or in the courtyard of the Haunted Mansion?
