Attraction Overview
Chances are good that you have met Disney characters before, at Disneyland Paris or other Disney Parks around the world, but the care and attention to detail behind this character meet make it something special. Meeting Mickey in his dressing room at the theater allows for a meeting place full of props and special memorabilia from his long film career. It can be distracting with a fabulous celebrity in the room, but take the time to appreciate your surroundings!
There are many items scattered around the room for atmosphere, including the “Sorcerer Mickey” hat, card tricks, and other props for his magic act, and a wardrobe of hats and gloves nearby that is absolutely bonkers. Of course, the star of the show is Mickey himself, in his classic outfit, well-lit and in front of a red curtain which just photographs beautifully. This is certain to be one of the best looking pictures you’ll ever take with the World’s Favorite Mouse!
Queue and Storyline
You enter the interior portion of the queue and pass through a lobby festooned with posters of Mickey Mouse films. Next, you enter at the back of the theatre, with the queue standing in the space where the seating would normally be, separated into “back and forth” rows by stanchions, moving the queue down to the front of the house. The natural incline of the theater means that each row of guests waiting has a good view of the classic Disney shorts playing on the screen on the stage.
Once you make it to the backstage area things move very quickly, and you will soon find yourself in a small holding area for the next few groups, which very quickly becomes your turn, and Mickey’s helpers will bring you in for the moment you have been waiting for!
Accessibility
There is a separate access queue, to the left of the main entrance, for guests with disabilities, which can be helpful to avoid overcrowding and wait times.
On-Ride Photo
There is a PhotoPass photographer in Mickey’s dressing room, helping him take excellent pictures with his new friends.
