Il Mulino at the Walt Disney World Swan Hotel delivers traditional Italian food in an elevated setting. This Fine/Signature Dining restaurant offers a table service experience, one that can be enjoyed with individual dishes or “piatti per il tavolo” (or family style). Both the food and dining room are rich in Old World charm with modern touches, and it’s a great choice for an adults-only date night or an upscale family dinner.
Il Mulino Location
Il Mulino is located inside the Walt Disney World Swan Hotel, and it sits right in the hotel’s lobby.
Il Mulino Menu
At Il Mulino, you’ll find plenty of Italian favorites. The menu is filled with traditional antipasti, handmade pizzas, hearty pastas, and even staples like chicken, steak, and seafood. So, whether you’re a pasta enthusiast or prefer something like an elevated pizza, it’s all available here.
If you opt for the family-style meal service, you’ll pay a per item, per-person price to enjoy large plates like salads, rice balls, calamari, and different pasta dishes. For large groups, it’s an easy way to cover appetizers, pasta, and even salads without fussing over individual dishes and portion sizes so everything is shareable.
And if you do bring kids along for this Fine/Signature Dining experience, there is a dedicated kids’ menu. It features simpler but still delicious staples like pepperoni pizza, fettuccine Alfredo, and spaghetti with marinara to satisfy even picky eaters.

Disney Dining Plan
You won’t be able to use credits from the Disney Dining Plan here, as the Walt Disney World Swan Hotel doesn’t accept either version of the plan.
Additionally, it’s worth noting that Il Mulino and the hotel don’t accept MagicBands, Disney Gift Cards, or any other form of Disney stored value cards (like Disney Dining Cards) as payment.
Advance Dining Reservations
Like all other Disney World Fine/Signature Dining (and more casual table service) restaurants, Il Mulino does offer advance dining reservations (ADRs). And you’ll want to make a reservation ahead of your visit if you’re hoping to dine here.
Il Mulino is popular enough that you may find ADRs get snapped up quite quickly, even well in advance. You’ll particularly want to plan months in advance if you’re planning to head to Disney World during one of the peak crowd periods of the year, as that’s when it becomes particularly difficult to get reservations here.
Is Il Mulino Kid-Friendly?
As a Fine/Signature Dining restaurant, it’s easy to write off Il Mulino as a place you don’t want to bring the kids. However, it is a restaurant at Disney World – which means kids are welcome, and odds are there will be plenty of other families dining here alongside you.
That being said, a fancier establishment like Il Mulino likely isn’t the best choice if you have very young kids (like toddlers and preschoolers) who are picky eaters or who have trouble sitting still during mealtime in restaurants. It’s doable, but if all of the adults are hoping for a relaxed, hot meal, I suggest saving this spot until your kids are older.
