While you’re enjoying the waterfront sights and relaxing at Disney’s Old Key West Resort, don’t skip Gurgling Suitcase. This cozy bar is the perfect place to grab a (huge!) drink, a light bite, and good vibes. It’s a classic spot for good reason – the drinks are good, the bartenders are welcoming, and the atmosphere is a whole lot of fun.

You’ll find Gurgling Suitcase right by the water at Old Key West, conveniently located right near Good’s Food to Go, Olivia’s Cafe, and the Conch Flats General Store.
Gurgling Suitcase Menu
Gurgling Suitcase is true to its name: Inspired by the tradition of customs inspectors shaking suitcases to see if they “gurgled” with alcohol smuggled from Cuba into Key West, this is a bar where you’ll find plenty to drink.
In fact, Gurgling Suitcase is best known for a drink called the Turtle Krawl. This tropical cocktail features three different rum varieties (light, dark, and coconut) paired with orange, pineapple, and lime juice. And if you’re wandering around Old Key West’s grounds, odds are you’ve spotted at least one person carrying one of the trademark jumbo cocktails Gurgling Suitcase is also known for.
Along with cocktails, beer, and wine, Gurgling Suitcase also serves light bites or appetizers, along with one meal (a cheeseburger). So, while the focus is drinks, you’ll find some Key West inspired dishes on the menu, too.

Disney Dining Plan
Like many Disney World bars and lounges, Gurgling Suitcase doesn’t accept the Disney Dining Plan (or the Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan). So, you won’t be able to use meal or snack credits at this particular dining spot.
Advance Dining Reservations
You won’t need advance dining reservations (ADRs) to visit Gurgling Suitcase. In fact, none are offered for this cozy bar. Instead, you can stop by any time it’s open – but don’t be surprised if there’s a crowd during popular times of the day.
Is Gurgling Suitcase Kid-Friendly?
Since Gurgling Suitcase is a bar, it’s not exactly the most kid-friendly place at Old Key West. It is a Disney World bar, so that means kids can come along – and there is food on the menu they can enjoy, along with nonalcoholic drinks. But the atmosphere here is decidedly for adults, which means you’ll probably want to skip this bar. Trust me: Your toddler will thank you.
