Disney Lightning Lane Premier Pass, Explained

by | Oct 30, 2024 | Disneyland, Walt Disney World

This summer, Disney switched their Disney Genie+ service to Lightning Lane Multi Pass, with individual Lightning Lanes replaced by Lightning Lane Single Pass. Both paid services give you entry to Lightning Lanes at the parks, with Multi Pass giving you the opportunity to choose up to three rides ahead of time, and selecting more that are available throughout the day.

For guests that are looking to pay one set price for entry to all Lightning Lanes, though, a new service has arrived at both Disney World and Disneyland: Lightning Lane Premier Pass.

Disney Lightning Lane Premier Pass

Lightning Lane Premier Pass debuted in October 2024 in very limited quantities. At initial rollout, the service is open to all guests at Disneyland, or guests at Disney Deluxe Resorts, Disney Deluxe Villa Resorts, and other select hotels in Disney World

The service allows you to make a single purchase that will give you access to all Lightning Lanes at a certain park for a day (or both parks at Disneyland). You don’t need to choose a specific arrival time but instead can ride all the rides you’d like, with access to each ride’s Lightning Lane once throughout the day. Basically, this is a way to make your day especially flexible and access all the rides you want without an extended wait.

Similar to Lightning Lane Multi Pass, your purchase also includes photo perks, such as digital downloads of select attraction photos and videos.

Disney World Lightning Lane Premier Pass

At Disney World, Lightning Lane Premier Pass can be purchased seven days in advance, and is available for one park per day. With your purchase, you will have access to one Lightning Lane use per ride for the day, with the price varying by the park and date.
