The queue is not terribly dissimilar to Magic Kingdom’s version, taking you into a Wild West mining town. The line starts outside before taking you into a covered area, where you’ll head down a level to board.

Is Big Thunder Mountain Railroad Kid-Friendly?
Big Thunder Mountain Railroad is a classic Disney attraction and one of the opening day rides for Disneyland Paris. While it’s not the most intense roller coaster available, it’s still a step above rides like Slinky Dog Dash at Disney World.
If you have a young kid, this may be a bit much for their first-ever roller coaster. However, if you have a kid who loves thrills and is up for the challenge, this can be a particularly fun ride to get to experience.

Will Big Thunder Mountain Railroad Cause Motion Sickness?
If you get motion sick from bumps, hills, or typical roller coaster movements, this may be a ride you want to avoid. While not the most intense roller coaster available at the park, there’s enough motion and movements that it could cause motion sickness if you are typically sensitive to that.
