We took our first trip to Disney World when my daughter was a little over one, and pretty much packed our car to the brim. You have the option of getting items delivered to the airport, your hotel/resort, or a family residence, or you can pick it up and drop it off yourself.
All you need to do is enter your travel dates and location on the BabyQuip website to get connected with numerous providers that serve your destination. For Disney World, especially, you’ll find plenty of options for providers that will bring everything you need for the parks and hotel. This includes a Disney-approved stroller, a crib or pack-n-play, toys to play with in the room, pool accessories, and so much more. Basically, anything that will be cumbersome or expensive to bring on a plane is easy to order right through the website or app.

My Experience With BabyQuip at Disney World
Taking my two-year-old to Disney World can feel like I’m bringing my entire house on a road trip. We typically need a travel bed, stroller, a toddler potty (because potty training, yay!), books, and more — and that’s all from driving down! To avoid an overpacked car (and all the stress that comes along with packing/unpacking everything), we have had a lot of success ordering our bigger items to rent for trips using BabyQuip. Specifically, we’ve rented strollers (typically the same model we have at home), a potty, crib, and a few books to read. The crib was especially great, as we’ve found the cribs at various Disney resorts to be hit or miss. Being able to specify the exact kind of crib we wanted made for an easier sleeping experience for the whole family (believe me).
To make the process particularly simple, our provider delivered everything straight to our hotel, bringing it up to our room neatly packed and ready to go. While I’ve loved using the service for Disney World, I’ve also found it to be useful in other locations. For example, my family used the service again this past summer, when we flew to the northeast for a beach trip. Because we didn’t want to go overboard with bringing all the large essentials with us, we decided to rent the bigger items for the beach house to use. We grabbed a beach wagon, beach toys, a crib, and a toddler potty, which came out to about $260 over the course of the eight days (including a delivery fee). That price will range based on the location and your dates, but when we compared it to how much we’d be paying with additional checked luggage on the plane ride, we felt that the rental was worth the cost instead.

The cost will also depend on how you have your items delivered, as there is a delivery fee. You can save money by dropping it off/picking it up yourself.

Are all rental items cleaned?

Is there a minimum rental period?
Generally, there’s a three day minimum rental period. However, some providers will accommodate one or two day rentals (I have had success with two days in the past, but my provider selection was more limited).
Is there a discount for longer rentals?
Yes, you can save on longer rentals, starting at 9+ days:
- 9-16 day rental: 10% off
- 17-24 day rental: 20% off
- 24+ day rental: 30% off
What is the BabyQuip cancellation policy?
According to BabyQuip, “All reservations canceled within 24 hours of booking with an original reservation start time more than 48 hours away will receive a full refund, except for the service fee.”
