Drive a car into the water? Yep. It’s an Amphicar! But wait there’s more.

Disney Springs has become the home to some really nice nautical experiences. The biggy is the Amphicar, but there are some other classic water adventures you can enjoy.

About Amphicars

No, your eyes are not deceiving you. You have just witnessed the world’s only land and water car. These dream boats from days gone by are piloted by their very own Captain. Climb aboard for a one of a kind 20-minute tour of the Disney Springs landmarks.

Water Adventures

There is a variety of ways that you can enjoy Lake Buena Vista and the beautiful scenery of Disney Springs.

  • Venezia: Behold the beautiful 40-foot wooden Italian water taxi! This is an excursion for you to take your sweetheart on. Enjoy chocolate-covered strawberries and champagne as you are guided around the lake.

Walk up reservations are available hourly from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., weather permitting. The cost as of June 2015 is $75 per person, $50 for children under 13.

  • Lady Rose: Step back to the 1880’s and climb aboard this romantic steamboat for two. Enjoy chocolate-covered strawberries and champagne as you tour the lake.

Walk up reservations are available hourly from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., weather permitting. The cost as of June 2015 is $150 per couple.

  • Amphicars: Splash into the lake in style as you float in an actual car! These rare cars were purchased from collections from around the world. Only 3,878 of these vehicles were made in the 1960’s. This is an extremely rare opportunity as The BOATHOUSE is the only place in the world where you can ride on the water in style.

Reservations are available hourly from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., weather permitting. Each Amphicar can accommodate up to three guests (which can be classified as three adults or two adults and two small children). The cost as of June 2015 is $125 per car.

Reservations are suggested and can be made at The Ship’s Store (next to The BOATHOUSE), by calling 407-WDW-BOAT, or through Destinations to Travel.
