All aboard! The Walt Disney World Railroad is a classic, historic feature of Magic Kingdom. The 1.5-mile track is home to four vintage trains (built between 1916 and 1928) that will take you for a 20-minute ride for the full loop. You also have the option to get off at one of three stops. For young children and adults alike, this is a must-do for your trip to the parks.

There are three different stations where you can board: The main stop is Main Street, U.S.A., with stops in Frontierland and Storybook Circus in Fantasyland. The track for the Disney World Railroad runs around the outside of the park for the most part. It is a mile and a half long. It is a narrow gauge track (the rails are 3 feet apart). It takes about 20 minutes for the train to circle the park.
Accessibility
There are four engines on the railroad. They are: Walter E. Disney, Lilly Belle, Roger E. Broggie, and Roy O. Disney. They are wheelchair-accessible, and each train has a ramp and space for wheelchair users to sit. Guests can also transfer to a regular train car if they prefer.

Ride Tips
While there typically isn’t too much of a line for the train (making it a great option for families), you may have a bit of a wait just depending on where the train is on the loop before getting to your station. Additionally, you’ll want to note that the attraction typically closes a few hours before the park, so don’t wait until the last minute to board.
