Refreshment Port

by | Dec 29, 2025 | Dining, Walt Disney World

Located just before the entrance to World Showcase near the Canada Pavilion, Refreshment Port is a walk-up kiosk known for indulgent seasonal snacks, crispy fried favorites, and, most famously, its rotating lineup of specialty poutines. Unlike typical beverage stands, Refreshment Port functions as a festival-adjacent food stop year-round, offering hearty bites and limited-time treats tied to EPCOT’s rotating celebrations.

Refreshment Port Location

Refreshment Port sits on the pathway between World Celebration and World Showcase, near the entrance to the Canada Pavilion. Its position makes it a natural stopping point for guests beginning their world tour or looking for a savory festival bite before crossing into the pavilions.

Refreshment Port Menu

The menu focuses heavily on savory comfort food, with poutine as its signature offering in varieties that change with EPCOT’s festival calendar. Guests can generally expect hand-cut fries topped with gravy, cheese curds, and seasonal ingredients, alongside soft drinks, beer selections, and rotating desserts. During EPCOT’s Food & Wine, Festival of the Arts, Flower & Garden, and Festival of the Holidays, specialty menu items often debut exclusively at this location, making it a reliable stop for festival completists.

Refreshment Port occasionally features items such as:

  • Classic poutine topped with rich gravy and cheese curds
  • Seasonal poutines featuring plant-based options, festival sauces, specialty cheeses, or holiday garnishes
  • Soft-serve treats, specialty floats, and rotating themed beverages

This is a snack-forward location rather than a full meal destination, but portions can be surprisingly hearty.

Disney Dining Plan

Refreshment Port typically accepts the Disney Dining Plan for select snack items when designated with the dining plan symbol. Specialty festival offerings may or may not qualify, so eligibility should be checked at the time of ordering. Alcoholic beverages are not included in dining plan redemption.

Advance Dining Reservations

Refreshment Port does not accept Advance Dining Reservations (ADRs). As a walk-up kiosk, all ordering is counter-style, and seating is not provided beyond surrounding benches and nearby shaded spaces around World Showcase Plaza.

Is Refreshment Port Kid-Friendly?

Yes, though offerings skew slightly more adventurous than standard park snack stands. Kids who enjoy fries and fun toppings may find poutine satisfying, while those with simpler tastes can typically request sauces on the side. Its prime location near the transition point into World Showcase makes it a popular pause for families starting (or restarting) their EPCOT journey. Portions are easy to share, flavors frequently shift with the festivals, and the stop provides a savory break from the sweet-forward snack options elsewhere in the park.
