If you’re in the mood for a tropical escape without leaving Walt Disney World, Tambu Lounge is the perfect retreat. Located inside Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, this laid-back yet lively spot serves up island-inspired drinks and a selection of small bites—many of which draw influence from the resort’s signature restaurant, ‘Ohana. It’s the ideal place to enjoy a pre-dinner cocktail, relax after a day in the parks, or sip something fruity while taking in the South Seas-inspired atmosphere.
Tambu Lounge Location
Tambu Lounge is located on the second floor of the Great Ceremonial House at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, just outside the entrance to ‘Ohana. The open-air design allows you to take in the bustle of the lobby below while still feeling tucked away in a comfortable, island-themed space.
Tambu Lounge Menu
The menu at Tambu Lounge is best known for its tropical cocktails, like the iconic Lapu Lapu—served in a whole pineapple—and the fan-favorite Backscratcher, which comes with its own bamboo swizzle stick. You’ll also find classics like the Mai Tai, as well as seasonal specialty drinks. The food menu includes Polynesian-inspired bites such as ‘Ohana’s famous honey-coriander chicken wings, pot stickers, and bread pudding, making this more than just a drink stop.

Is Tambu Lounge Kid-Friendly?
While Tambu Lounge has a grown-up vibe, it is still family-friendly. Non-alcoholic tropical drinks and mocktails are available, and children are welcome to enjoy the food menu. That said, the atmosphere is most appealing for adults looking to relax with a drink.
