The Drop Off Pool Bar

by | Jun 18, 2025 | Art of Animation Resort, Dining, Quick-Service Restaurants

If you’re spending a fun day in the sun while staying at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, you’re going to want to stop by the Drop Off Pool Bar to cool down, grab a bite, or pick up a drink. Themed after Finding Nemo just like the nearby Big Blue Pool, this quick-service restaurant offers everything from staple snacks to chilled alcoholic beverages, and the food is perfect for picky diners.

The Drop Off Pool Bar Location

You’ll find the Drop Off Pool Bar located just steps away from the Big Blue Pool. It’s in between the two Finding Nemo buildings, which means it’s also conveniently located near the Schoolyard Spray Ground and Righteous Reef Playground.

The Drop Off Pool Bar Menu

The Drop Off Pool Bar keeps mealtime simple and laid-back, like any good poolside bar should. The food here isn’t fancy, but it does the trick for satisfying hunger and pleasing picky eaters – and it’s sure to be a hit with kids.

Here, you’ll find familiar, crowd-pleasing staples like pizza, sandwiches, and hot dogs. There are also snacks and sweet treats like ice cream available, which are perfect for those sunny pool days. And for adults looking for a treat that’s not so kid-friendly, the full bar here means there are plenty of cocktails, beer choices, and even wine and sangria options available.

Disney Dining Plan

It’ll cost you one quick-service meal credit to dine here.

Advance Dining Reservations

Like any pool bar at Disney World’s different resorts, you won’t need to make an advance dining reservation (ADR) before heading to the Drop Off Pool Bar. Reservations aren’t offered here, but you can walk up to the bar any time it’s open (but do note its hours can differ from the pool itself).

Is the Drop Off Pool Bar Kid-Friendly?

The Drop Off Pool Bar is definitely a kid-friendly place to dine. In fact, the food here leans more kid-focused than adult-friendly, with the exception of alcoholic beverages. Favorites like slices of pizza, chicken tenders, and hot dogs make for simple fare that’ll please even the pickiest of eaters.

Plus, the atmosphere at the Drop Off Pool Bar is perfectly kid-friendly. Since this dining option sits right on the pool deck, you won’t need to worry about kids being loud, wiggly, or even wet from a splash in the pool. You can relax and set those table service restaurant manners aside.
