Cooling Hut

by | May 22, 2025 | Blizzard Beach, Dining, Quick-Service Restaurants

Blizzard Beach may be home to plenty of snow-themed fun, but at this water park, sometimes you need something even cooler – like ice cream. Cooling Hut, a quick-service kiosk, is where you’ll want to head for a variety of snacks, from those iconic Mickey ice cream bars to salty popcorn.

Cooling Hut Location

You’ll find Cooling Hut near the water park’s lockers. It sits along the banks of Cross Country Creek, right next to the Shade Shack and just across the way from Frostbite Freddy’s.

Cooling Hut Menu

At the Cooling Hut, you’ll find a mix of popular snack options (including a few healthier picks). It’s a no-frills quick-service spot, but a great option for snacking throughout the day. Plus, everything is designed for handheld, on-the-go snacking – which makes the food items offered here wonderfully water park friendly.

Take a look at what’s on the Cooling Hut menu below.

Snacks

  • Mickey Pretzel
  • Popcorn – Souvenir Bucket
  • Popcorn
  • Fresh Fruit Cup
  • Assorted Chips
  • Cheese Snack Cup

Frozen Treats

  • Nestle Mickey’s Premium Ice Cream Bar
  • Nestle Mickey’s Premium Ice Cream Sandwich
  • Strawberry Fruit Bar
  • Olaf Frozen Lemonade Strawberry Bar

Beverages also available.

Disney Dining Plan

Cooling Hut does accept the Disney Dining Plan and, since it’s a quick-service restaurant, you can use credits from both the Disney Dining Plan and the Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan here.

Since snacks are on the menu here, you can use snack credits from the Disney Dining Plan at Cooling Hut. It’ll cost you one snack credit per person.

Advance Dining Reservations

You won’t need an advance dining reservation (ADR) to grab a bite at Cooling Hut. This kiosk doesn’t offer reservations (after all, it sells snacks and not full meals) – so you can stop by any time it’s open to place an order.

Is Cooling Hut Kid-Friendly?

With a mix of savory and sweet snack staples like ice cream and popcorn, Cooling Hut is undeniably kid-friendly. While you won’t find a ton of variety here, it is a great option for kids who need a snack or treat, and those Mickey bars and sandwiches are perfect for satisfying their appetites.
