Phantom Manor is a unique ride at Disneyland Paris, providing the park’s own spin on the iconic Haunted Mansion attraction. Darker in tone than the traditional Haunted Mansion, Phantom Manor has a distinct plot that combines a walk-through portion with the classic Omnimover vehicles.
This version of the ride follows the owner of the manor, Henry Ravenswood. His daughter, Melanie, had four suitors, all of whom came to a mysterious and untimely end. The story of the family is told through Phantom Manor, as you learn about a mysterious Phantom who haunts the house and Melanie’s intended groom.

The ride begins with an outdoor queue, where guests enter the grounds of a derelict, seemingly abandoned mansion. You’ll enter the ride through the front door, heading into the foyer where you’ll begin the pre-show, introducing the background story of the ride.
Accessibility
Phantom Manor has a wheelchair-accessible entrance, but you will be required to transfer from your wheelchair to the ride vehicle. Guide dogs are accepted on the ride. The attraction is not advised for pregnant people.

Is Ratatouille: L’Aventure Totalement Toquee de Remy Kid-Friendly?
While the ride has no height requirement, meaning it’s technically open for all ages, you’ll want to consider how your kid will react to the darker storyline of Phantom Manor. If they can handle Haunted Mansion at Disney World or Disneyland, they’ll likely be able to handle the spooky storyline of the attraction.
However, it is important to note that, while Haunted Mansion has a rather ambiguous, loose story to it, Phantom Manor has a more clear cut, sinister story than other iterations. If they’re a younger kid, the elements of ghostly murder and death may be a touch more frightening then they’re able to deal with.
Will Ratatouille: L’Aventure Totalement Toquee de Remy Cause Motion Sickness?
A slow-moving and smooth dark ride, it’s unlikely Phantom Manor will cause motion sickness. There are parts of the ride that do bring the omnimover backwards, if that’s something you’re sensitive to – but it’s done very slowly and without any sudden jerks or motion.
