Step into a Tuscan villa and enjoy alfresco dining underneath umbrellas, surrounded by flowers, herbs, and the rustic fresco-covered walls and wood beams of Wine Country Trattoria. This table service restaurant in Disney’s California Adventure Park serves a selection of Italian favorites, plus a wealth of different wines.
Set along the performance corridor, Wine Country Trattoria offers a great place to dine and people-watch any time of the day. Best of all, this restaurant always has availability, making it a standout option for those who prefer not to plan – or whose kids might shake up plans!
Wine Country Trattoria Location
Wine Country Trattoria sits along California Adventure’s main thoroughfare, but you can’t miss it. It’s directly across from the back entrance to San Fransokyo Square (where the Bakery Tour sits), and it’s connected to both Mendocino Terrace and Sonoma Terrace, which flank the restaurant on either side.
Wine Country Trattoria Menu
The menu at Wine Country Trattoria is inspired by both Mediterranean dining and the Napa Valley, home to historic California wines. The restaurant serves both lunch and dinner, with mid-range pricing that’s a nice alternative to higher-priced table service spots.
While you’ll notice a Napa influence on the wine list here, the rest of the menu leans Italian, featuring staples like Spaghetti Bolognese and Chicken Parmesan. Kids will find Italian fare on their smaller-sized menu here, too. It’s a great place for picky eaters who prefer pasta, and adults will have no problem finding something simple or slightly elevated to enjoy.Â
And if you’re a wine aficionado, Wine Country Trattoria is a great place to spend some time. With more than 25 wines by the glass plus samplers that include a taste of three different wines, you can try different vintages and varietals. My favorite feature on the menu that every entrée has an ideal wine pairing noted – super handy if you’re looking for a recommendation or aren’t sure where to start.

Advance Dining Reservations
Like all table service restaurants, Wine Country Trattoria does accept advance dining reservations, and you may want to make one ahead of your visit. Disney recommends doing so – and in my experience, while walk-up tables are available, the wait gets long most evenings.
There’s always a crowd come dinnertime at Wine Country Trattoria, so it’s better to make a reservation so you don’t have to wait. I’ve found that most days, there’s always a reservation time (or quite a few options) available, even if you’re looking last-minute.Â
So, if you couldn’t score the dining reservation of your dreams, this is a great alternative.
Is Wine Country Trattoria Kid-Friendly?
Wine Country Trattoria is a wonderfully kid-friendly table service option. The alfresco dining setup is perfect for kids of all ages, but I especially like it for toddlers and preschoolers who may need some kind of entertainment, like people-watching, or space to wiggle and make a little noise.
Although the Italian dishes on the menu here are slightly elevated compared to your basic pastas and pizzas, it’s also a crowd-pleaser of a restaurant. Here, there’s something for everyone, whether that’s adults looking for a good glass of wine, kids who love simple spaghetti, or tweens and teens who have more adventurous tastes. The food is always solid in consistency and flavor, too.
