The Smiling Crocodile

by | Aug 20, 2025 | Uncategorized

Small in size but packed with flavor, The Smiling Crocodile is a quick-service food kiosk in Disney’s Animal Kingdom that specializes in creative mac & cheese dishes. It’s easy to miss if you’re rushing between attractions, but for those in the know, this little stand is a great place to grab a quick, satisfying bite with unique flavors you won’t find elsewhere in the park.

The Smiling Crocodile Location

You’ll find The Smiling Crocodile on Discovery Island, just before the bridge leading into DinoLand U.S.A. It’s a small outdoor kiosk located along the water — with limited seating nearby, but lots of shady spots for a quick stand-up snack or to relax for a few minutes before continuing your Animal Kingdom adventure.

The Smiling Crocodile Menu

The Smiling Crocodile offers a few quick dishes, such as creative mac and cheese options. The location is not always open, so make sure to check My Disney Experience for when you’re visiting if it was a dining spot you wanted to enjoy.

Disney Dining Plan

The Disney Dining Plan is not accepted at The Smiling Crocodile, so you won’t be able to use quick service or snack credits at this location.

Advance Dining Reservations

As a quick-service restaurant, Advance Dining Reservations are not accepted. And currently, Mobile Order is not offered at this location, so you’ll need to order directly at the kiosk window. Service is typically quick due to the small menu and grab-and-go format.

Is The Smiling Crocodile Kid-Friendly?

The menu here is pretty small and basic, with a few baked mac and cheese dishes. If you have a kid who enjoys mac and cheese, they’ll definitely find something here to enjoy! Otherwise, there are plenty of other grab-and-go options throughout the park that may suit their taste better.
