Disneyland Resort is getting some exciting fresh food options, and Sip & Sonder is one of the newest additions. This quick-service restaurant is a place to sip on signature lattes, frozen concoctions, and enjoy some small bites in a café-style space.
This Black women-owned brand has earned plenty of accolades for its delicious drinks, including the title of one of the best cafés in Los Angeles by the Los Angeles Times. Sip & Sonder’s innovative and culturally inspired menu makes for a perfect fit somewhere as history-rich as Disneyland’s Downtown Disney District.
Sip & Sonder Location
Sip & Sonder will be one of the four eateries inside the new Parkside Market opening at Downtown Disney. Parkside Market will sit in between the LEGO Store and the Downtown Disney LIVE! Stage when it opens.
Sip & Sonder Menu
As a café, Sip & Sonder is all about drinks and light bites. But while you may not be able to grab a complete meal here, it is a great place to stop as you’re headed into or out of the theme parks – and adults who love delicious coffee drinks will find it a fast favorite.
Specialty drinks are at the heart of Sip & Sonder’s menu. They aren’t just tasty, though; they have inspiration like Jamaican sorrel slushies, cold brews created as a nod to Rose Nicaud, the first coffee vendor in New Orleans, and even modern touches like a lavender and mocha latte.
Note: Because Sip & Sonder is not yet open, we don’t yet know what the full menu for the Downtown Disney restaurant will feature.
Advance Dining Reservations
Sip & Sonder is a quick-service restaurant, so there are no advance dining reservations available here. Guests can visit any time the restaurant is open to place an order and grab a meal.
Is Sip & Sonder Kid-Friendly?
Until Sip & Sonder and the larger Parkside Market officially open, we won’t know what the atmosphere is like and what’s on the menu for kids. However, like most of the quick-service spots across Disneyland Resort, it’s safe to assume this restaurant will be reasonably kid-friendly – though options for picky eaters may vary, since it is a café that leans a bit more adult in its offerings.
