Paseo is an upscale table service restaurant in Disneyland Resort’s Downtown Disney District. This dining spot, which is led by Michelin-starred Chef Carlos Gaytan, offers a multisensory journey into Mexican cuisine and menu that blends familiar Mexican dishes with French culinary style and technique.
Paseo Location
Paseo is located in Downtown Disney, right next door to the former Marceline’s Confectionery (which is currently being reimagined into Disney Wonderful World of Sweets) and just across the walkway from both Centrico and Salt & Straw.
Paseo Menu
Flavor is at the forefront of Paseo’s menu, which features bright and vibrant dishes. The food here celebrates spice as well as Mexican traditions, putting fresh spins and interesting ingredients into old favorites.Â
Many of the dishes served at Paseo have ties to Chef Gaytan’s own history, from his mother’s Cochinita Pibil to the Pulpo Enamorada he enjoyed as a child. But some French inspiration takes everything from simple to elevated.
Paseo serves brunch and dinner, though brunch may not be available every day of the week.Â

Advance Dining Reservations
Paseo, like all Disneyland Resort table service restaurants, does offer advance dining reservations. It’s highly recommended that you make a dining reservation before your visit if you’re hoping to enjoy a meal here.
However, since Paseo is one of Downtown Disney’s newest restaurants, there are often last-minute reservations and walk-up tables available. The restaurant tends to see the most activity on weekends – but on weekdays, you may find more reservation availability and flexibility.Â
Is Paseo Kid-Friendly?
Although Paseo is designed to be the more elevated concept of Chef Gaytan’s three Disneyland Resort restaurants, this is still a pretty kid- and family-friendly table service dining spot.
While you’ll notice upon entering that Paseo features an elegant dining room (both indoors and outdoors), it’s just as welcoming for younger guests as most other Disneyland restaurants. The indoor and outdoor space means plenty of noise from Downtown Disney trickles in – so if kids aren’t on their quietest behavior, it’s not the end of the world.
Plus, while the menu features many elevated Mexican dishes, there’s a dedicated kids’ menu for little ones to choose from. In fact, Paseo offers one of the more extensive kids’ selections across the resort, giving both adventurous and picky eaters options that’ll satisfy them. And of course, there’s plenty for adults to love, too.
