Is Gangplank Falls Kid-Friendly?

With no height requirement and room for the whole family (or most of the family, at least), Gangplank Falls is quite kid-friendly. Younger kids will have the chance to ride confidently with their parents, while older tweens and teens can brave the attraction’s rapids on their own.

Younger kids – toddlers and preschool-age kids in particular – may be a bit young for the ride’s spins, banked turns, and unpredictability. But overall, with a parent along for the ride, most kids should be okay to ride.

One kid-friendly perk of Gangplank Falls? The slide’s route is completely uncovered, so kids who might be hesitant to ride enclosed slides should have no issues enjoying this one.

Best For: School-age kids, tweens, and teens looking for some light thrills along with twists and turns.

Will Gangplank Falls Cause Motion Sickness?

Gangplank Falls may cause motion sickness for some guests. Designed as a whitewater rafting adventure, it does feature twists, turns, and unexpected movement, including spinning and banking from side to side.
