Kids will likely find Davy Crockett’s Explorer Canoes fun – but it is a tough workout, which can make it frustrating or downright difficult for some kids. You’ll want to make sure your kids are old enough to handle a canoe paddle and comfortable using it for a lengthy period of time (it’s not a quick trip around the river!).
Keep in mind that the Cast Members who come along for the ride do handle most of the tough paddling and navigating, but it’s still more involved than any other Disneyland attraction. Plus, small kids will need to wear life jackets, since these canoes aren’t on any kind of track.
