Disney Cruise Line’s 50% Off Kids Offer: What Families Should Know

by | Apr 21, 2026 | Disney Cruise Line, More Disney

A new Disney Cruise Line offer lets kids sail for 50% off on select voyages. Here’s what to know about the deal, and why now may be the best time to plan your next family cruise.

If you’ve been thinking about taking a family cruise, this might be the moment to stop thinking and actually book it. Between limited-time savings and everything that’s already included in the experience, sailing with Disney Cruise Line has become one of the easiest (and surprisingly valuable) vacations to plan right now.

Let’s talk about why.

50% Off Kids’ Offer Details

Now through June 14, Disney is offering a major incentive for families: 50% off kids’ fares on select sailings departing between October 2026 and March 2027.

That’s not a small perk. Cruise pricing is typically based on double occupancy, with additional guests (like kids) added on at a lower (but still significant!) rate. Cutting that cost in half can mean hundreds, or even thousands, of dollars in savings for families traveling together.

A Closer Look at the Offer Details

If you’re considering taking advantage of this promotion from Disney Cruise Line, here are the key points to understand before booking:

  • Reserve your sailing by June 14, 2026 to qualify
  • Kids sail at 50% off, for up to 3 guests ages 17 and under
  • Valid on select voyages departing October 1, 2026, through March 27, 2027
  • Requires 2 full-fare guests sharing the same stateroom
  • The discount applies to the 3rd through 5th guests (when applicable)

There are also a few important fine-print details worth noting:

  • Taxes, fees, port expenses, gratuities, and Port Adventures are additional
  • Offer is limited to select stateroom categories (04A–11C) and excludes Concierge-level accommodations and Suites
  • Cannot be combined with other promotions or discounts
  • Eligible for both new bookings and existing reservations (though existing bookings require contacting Disney Cruise Line to apply the offer)
  • Availability is limited, and not all sailings or staterooms will be included

A Vacation That’s Actually Easy to Plan

One of the biggest hurdles with any family vacation is the planning. Theme park trips, in particular, can feel like a full-time job between reservations, Lightning Lanes, dining plans, and daily logistics.

A Disney cruise flips that entirely.

Once you book your sailing, so much of your vacation is already taken care of. Your accommodations, entertainment, dining, and activities are all bundled together. Instead of building a minute-by-minute itinerary, you can simply show up and enjoy it.
