World of Color Happiness! is a stunning nighttime spectacular that takes place out on California Adventure’s Paradise Bay, where the water comes to life with projections, music, and other special effects. The show is inspired by Walt Disney’s opening day dedication of Disneyland back in 1955: “To all who come to this happy place… welcome!” Guests will see a special pre-show featuring The Muppets, plus characters from Inside Out, The Incredibles, A Goofy Movie, Inside Out 2, and Encanto (along with other films) during the show.

Is World of Color Happiness! Kid-Friendly?

Featuring scenes from beloved Disney and Pixar films, plus both original and familiar songs, World of Color Happiness! is absolutely kid-friendly. The show uses water projection along with other special effects like lasers and fire to bring moments to life, and kids are sure to spot some of their favorite characters as they watch.

It’s also interactive. As a special addition just for the Disneyland Resort 70th celebration, guests can vote in the Disneyland app to determine which Inside Out emotion will have a special spotlight during that night’s performances of World of Color Happiness!

Plus, without any fireworks, World of Color Happiness! is friendly for all ages and even those who might be sensitive to the loud explosions of other nighttime spectaculars.

Best For: Anyone who loves a stellar nighttime spectacular.
