An after-dark sensation that first debuted back in 2015 for Disneyland Resort’s 60th anniversary celebration, Paint the Night Parade is a modern-day successor to the original Main Street Electrical Parade. Featuring more than one million LED lights and larger-than-life floats (seriously – you’ll be surprised at the sheer size!) and characters from films like Frozen, Cars, The Little Mermaid, and Monsters, Inc., it’s a true nighttime spectacle.

Queue
There isn’t a traditional queue for Paint the Night since it’s a parade. Guests can grab a spot anywhere along the parade route – Main Street, U.S.A. is the most popular, but there are also viewing areas in Fantasyland.
Note that there are typically two showing of the parade each day it runs: one at 8:45 PM and one at 10:45 PM. Guests will usually begin queuing up (or grabbing seats along the parade route) about an hour to an hour and a half before the start time.

Guests may remain in wheelchairs and ECVs during the parade. Ask a Cast Member if designated wheelchair viewing areas are available; they may be offered.
Sign Language interpretation may also available at specific showtimes. Check with Guest Relations to find out which scheduled showtimes will feature this accessibility option during your visit.

Kids and adults alike will love Paint the Night. This brilliant parade features catchy music, stunning floats, and some of the coolest floats to ever make their way down Main Street, U.S.A. – and it’s well worth staying into the evening for. The whole family will enjoy it, and thanks to the mix of older and more recent characters, it covers Disney’s films quite well.
