You’ll spot droids R2-D2 and C-3PO, and overhear flight announcements before boarding your own ride vehicle for the adventure to begin.

Star Tours: The Adventures Continue requires guests to transfer from a wheelchair to the ride seat. Service animals are also not permitted due to the ride’s movements and the enclosed vehicle. Additionally, it’s advised that pregnant guests avoid the ride due to its movements and intensity.

Is Star Tours: The Adventures Continue Kid-Friendly?

For older kids who love Star Wars, this can be an incredibly immersive and fun thrill ride. With a height requirement of 40 inches, younger guests who would likely be too young for the content anyway will be unable to ride. When considering whether your kid is old enough to ride, you will want to consider their bandwidth for lots of movement and jerky motions, as well as if they’ll be scared of certain elements.

Since the storyline changes each ride, no two rides are exactly alike. That means you may be seeing Stormtroopers, Kylo Ren, Darth Vader, or other characters depending on your specific ride-through, and you won’t be able to prepare kids for every specific ahead of time. For simulator rides, closing your eyes or taking breaks can also help.
