Lucky Fortune Cookery offers fresh, hearty Asian-inspired meals you can enjoy without a lengthy wait. Open for lunch and dinner daily, this quick-service restaurant features both plenty of familiar staples and trendy dishes that offer something new to try.

The menu at this restaurant does lean more adult, with options like Beef Birria Ramen fusing Asian and Mexican cuisine and Strawberry Lychee Cocktails meant for the 21-and-up crowd. But there are some selections for kids, too, that are more comfort food than thrilling.

Best of all, if you love Asian food, you’ll absolutely want to visit Lucky Fortune Cookery during California Adventure’s annual Lunar New Year Celebration. Here, special seasonal offerings designed just for the celebratory time of the year fill the menu – and if you visit during other big annual events, like the Festival of Holidays or Food and Wine Festival, you’ll find other limited-time menu items, too.

Is Lucky Fortune Cookery Kid-Friendly?

While the Asian-inspired cuisine on the menu at Lucky Fortune Cookery may be enticing to adults and more adventurous kids, it’s not exactly the most kid-friendly place to dine in California Adventure.

While there is ample outdoor seating – and the incredibly casual atmosphere means kids can wiggle, talk, and get out all of their restlessness in one place – and there are a few kids’ options on the menu, Lucky Fortune Cookery ultimately features food that’s likely a bit too far beyond most picky eaters’ tastes.

If your kids love items like teriyaki chicken or udon, then they’ll easily find delicious dishes to enjoy. But if your little ones are pickier and need staples like mac and cheese or chicken tenders, this is one you’ll want to skip.
