A popular spot for locals and hotel guests staying at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, Hearthstone Lodge is a bit off the beaten path at Disneyland Resort. This hidden gem doesn’t have a large menu or an array of viral treats, but its quiet ambience and gorgeous Arts and Crafts architecture make it a relaxing place to enjoy a glass of wine, a slice of pizza, or even an expertly-mixed cocktail.
Hearthstone Lounge Location
You’ll find Hearthstone Lounge tucked away inside the Grand Californian Hotel & Spa. It’s just off the lobby – head toward the Grand Californian Great Hall Cart (which is just past the roaring fireplace), and it’s just a few steps to your left.
Hearthstone Lounge Menu
Hearthstone Lounge is true to its name and it’s part bar, part lounge. However, you’ll actually enjoy table-service restaurant dining here – so while the menu is relatively small, there’s plenty to whet appetites of all sizes.
Since this is an adult-focused lounge, you’ll find dishes tailored to the culinary tastes of the 21-and-up crowd. There are no kids’ meals here, so if you do bring the whole family, they’ll need to share with an adult (and picky eaters may not find anything quite to their liking).
However, for adults, the long list of drinks, the full bar, and the mix of light bites and filling dishes for lunch and dinner make the perfect mix. The menu stays the same no matter when you dine, though it’s worth noting pizzas aren’t made past 11:00 PM.

Advance Dining Reservations
Although Hearthstone Lounge is, well, a lounge, you can actually make advance dining reservations (ADRs) here.Â
While reservations are usually pretty easy to get – yes, even the day of or in the final days leading up to your park visit – and the walk-up list often has available space, it’s still a good idea to book a spot in advance. In my experience, weekends are particularly busy at Hearthstone Lounge, and you may find yourself waiting an hour or more if you try to visit last-minute on a Friday or Saturday.
Is Hearthstone Lounge Kid-Friendly?
As a fireside lounge with a full bar and a focus on adult fare, like craft cocktails and fine culinary creations, Hearthstone Lounge isn’t very kid-friendly. There’s no kid’s menu, and the atmosphere is 100 percent adult-leaning.Â
That being said, it is a Disney hotel lounge, so you can technically bring kids here and fare just fine. I’ve personally brought my toddler after a long day in the parks or an evening bite when staying at the Grand Californian, and we certainly weren’t the only ones who’d brought little ones along.
However, if you’re hoping to relax fireside and enjoy a drink, it’s a more enjoyable experience if you keep the kids at home (or entertained by grandparents or a babysitter!). While my son handled cocktail hour like a pro and enjoyed the lounge’s outdoor seating area for people watching, kids can get especially fidgety if dining inside.
