This character dining experience features a 3-course meal and interactive experiences, including story time with Belle, warrior lessons with Mulan, and even photos taken on a private wooded patio.

Disney Princess Breakfast Adventures is held inside Napa Rose, the fine dining restaurant at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa. You’ll find Napa Rose right near the hotel’s entrance into California Adventure.

Although Disney Princess Breakfast Adventures takes place inside Napa Rose, the dining experience offers an entirely different menu. 

This character meal only happens during breakfast hours, so breakfast and brunch items are served. It’s also only offered on select days of the week. Typically, you can book this breakfast Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays – though at some times of the year, it may only be available on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. 

While Disney doesn’t share what, exactly, is on the menu for Disney Princess Breakfast Adventures, each meal includes a starter and dessert selection for the table, plus an entrée for each person.

For kids, entrée options include staples like Mickey waffles and house-made macaroni and cheese. Adults can choose from options like scrambled eggs, deviled eggs, and braised short ribs.

Advance Dining Reservations

As one of the most popular character dining experiences at Disneyland Resort, Disney Princess Breakfast Adventures does offer advance dining reservations (ADRs) – and you’ll want to make sure to book one if you’re hoping to give it a try.

Reservations for this character meal disappear fast, so you’ll want to book right when the 60-day window opens up. Remember, Disney Princess Breakfast Adventures isn’t offered every day of the week, which means it’s tougher to get reservations here than for other character meals like Goofy’s Kitchen.

Is Disney Princess Breakfast Adventures Kid-Friendly?

Since Disney Princess Breakfast Adventures is a character dining experience, it’s absolutely kid-friendly. In fact, if you’re hoping to dine at Napa Rose – the restaurant that hosts Disney Princess Breakfast Adventures – with little ones in tow, this is the meal you’ll want to book.

While Napa Rose offers a decidedly not kid-friendly atmosphere for dinner service, with elevated fare, adult ambiance, and fine dining, Disney Princess Breakfast Adventures is far more tailored to kids. The 3-course menu features options designed specifically for kids (yes, picky eaters included).

Plus, the atmosphere of Disney Princess Breakfast Adventures is far more kid-friendly. The character encounters are obviously tailored to kids of various ages, but more importantly, the vibe during meal service is regal but casual. Kids can get up, move around the restaurant, and  be their usual selves, with all of the concerns about Napa Rose’s usual elegant setting removed.
