Is Matterhorn Bobsleds Kid-Friendly?
The Matterhorn Bobsleds aren’t super kid-friendly – at least not if you’re visiting with younger kids. This is an attraction that’s best for older school-age kids, tweens, and teens.
Thanks to high speeds and pretty jarring, bumpy track (and the appearance of that towering Abominable Snowman), this coaster is one that might frighten younger riders. However, if you’re looking for a thrill, this is a great attraction to start with.
Best For: Older kids, including tweens and teens, who love a good roller coaster and some light frights.
Will Matterhorn Bobsleds Cause Motion Sickness?
The Matterhorn Bobsleds may cause motion sickness for guests who are sensitive to turns, high speeds, and dips or drops.
Additionally, it’s worth noting that this attraction has a reputation for its unusually rough ride. Those who have concerns about jolting, jerky movements or rougher coaster tracks may want to sit the Matterhorn out.
