Check out wildlife, landscapes, and wisecracks as you cruise the waterways of the world aboard the world-famous Jungle Cruise. Here, you’ll climb aboard a tramp steamer and leave civilization back at the dock as you travel through ancient shrines, safari camps, and even an elephant bathing pool on the adventure of a lifetime… one filled with quite a lot of laughs.

Queue

The queue for the Jungle Cruise is technically outdoors, but since it winds through a boathouse, it’s really more open-air (and yes, much of the queue is shaded!). On busy days, the queue can stretch up to the second floor of the boathouse, which does feature stairs to climb.

Throughout the queue, guests pass by rooms that are filled with artifacts like pinned insects, 

The queuing area is cluttered with appropriate props, such as pinned insects, an old radio on top of a bookshelf, an old typewriter, and a chessboard with miniature animals and decorated shotgun shells replacing the pieces. The extended queue winds upstairs and then downstairs again.

Guests may remain in wheelchairs and ECVs for this attraction, and a wheelchair access vehicle is available. Other accessibility options, like assistive listening, handheld captioning, audio description, and sign language are also available.

Is the Jungle Cruise Kid-Friendly?

With no height requirement, a slow-moving speed, and plenty of cool details to see along the ride’s route, the Jungle Cruise is perfectly kid-friendly. Little ones of all ages will love checking out the scenery, animals, and the back side of water (obviously!), while older kids will get many of the jokes and more of the skippers’ punny spiels. 

Best For: Kids of any age who love boat rides, animals, and a good (or very punny) joke.

Will the Jungle Cruise Cause Motion Sickness?

The Jungle Cruise shouldn’t cause motion sickness for most guests. It’s slow, follows an easygoing route, and doesn’t feature much rocking while guests are on board.
