Choose your challenge and your own thrills at Blizzard Beach’s Runoff Rapids. This series of three water slides offers something for everyone: one enclosed slide with coils and tight turns, two open-air slides with twists and drops. No matter which you choose, you’ll fly down about 600 feet of slide in a roomy tube.

Is Runoff Rapids Kid-Friendly?
Runoff Rapids technically doesn’t have a height requirement, which suggests kids of any age can ride. However, this is a water slide that’s best saved for little thrillseekers – not toddlers or swimmers who are just starting out.
While some more confident little ones may be okay on Runoff Rapids, do keep in mind all three slides finish with a splash into a pool. You’ll want to make sure your kids are okay should they get bounced out of the tube at the end (or in the event the tube slips or flips).Â
Best For: Guests who are ready for a speedy challenge with twists, turns, and drops.
Will Runoff Rapids Cause Motion Sickness?
Runoff Rapids shouldn’t cause motion sickness, but extra-sensitive guests may experience some stomach-churning sensation depending on which of the three sides you choose.Â
The center slide is the most tightly coiled of the bunch, which can potentially cause motion sickness for some. If drops are more of a concern, the two slides on either side will be more likely to trigger motion sickness for some guests.
