The Wave

Located within the Contemporary Resort, The Wave offers a casual American dinning experience for the family. This trendy restaurant that features casual dining replaced an old favorite at the Contemporary, the Concourse Steakhouse as the all day, casual dining option in the Contemporary Resort.

As with most of the newer restaurants in Disney World, this Restaurant emphasizes healthy, organic and sustainable foods.

Advanced Dining Reservations

Yes, you can make Advanced Dining Reservations in advance for this restaurant, but you might not need them. During breakfast, you might not find a table depending on what convention is in town, but for the most part, this is an overlooked place to eat.

Reviews

Dad and Mrs. Mom gave The Wave a try. It was part of our Search for the Perfect Omelet. We had two very different experiences. The Search continued, but … (read about our experience here.)

Dad’s Bottom Line

The Wave is a little more than a casual restaurant. It’s a pricey bistro type place that may not live up to the hype. Dad’s a little suspicious of any restaurant that has wilted shard and edamame. Doesn’t sound to casual to me.
